I am not sure who I spoke with in our initial tow minute conversation, but that is not what was saidI was not distraughtI was simply handling a problem caused by a machine malfunctionOur dryer temperature went higher than because the lint filter was pluggedThis blockage stops the
proper air flow and the drum temperature risesWe clean the filter on a weekly basis, but we were using the dryer twice as much as normal, we should have been cleaning the filter more often to accommodate the additional lintI like to serve in the community and each year for free, we clean all the coast donated for Coats for Kids in the cities of Hayden and Coeur d'AleneThis is why the filters were blocked, and we should have adjusted our filter cleaning scheduleNext year we will do that.
In our first phone call I apologized to Mr*** for ruining his sleeping bags and offered to pay him the replacement value for themMr*** said he planned to give the sleeping bags to Saint Vincent, and that I could do what I though was right with Saint Vincent and let him know what I didI shared the story of Mr***'s kind gesture with the manager at Saint Vincent when I dropped off the check.As a service to the community, I clean all the linens for the Festival of Trees free-of-chargeI do this work before and after my regular shift at the cleanersMonday and Tuesday were hectic for me, because I was organizing the two week projectThis is why I did not call Mr*** until WednesdayI was completely taken aback at his responseIn our second conversation he never mentioned that he wanted proof of a donationIf he had, I would have done that for him and this would have been resolved quicklyThe check for $has not cleared, but the number is ***When it does clear I will send you a copy of itI received the letter from the Revdex.com November 19, 2016, so it was impossible to respond by November 9,
Normally I do not mention the service I do in the community, because my motive is to help others, not for self-promotionI felt it was necessary to mention these service projects to better explain my behavior in this situation
