I'm tired of seeing shoddy reviews from people attempting to tear down legit businesses, when it's clear they messed up somehow but don't want to own up to it. SongRegistration has been around for something like 15 years. They aren't the problem.
We just discovered this complaint and feel obliged to respond because it is inaccurate on all accounts.
1. We pride ourselves on our unparalleled customer support. At the end of this message are 3 emails exchanged with this customer. As you can see, we tried very hard to help her. The issue was that she did not have her song files -- neither audio nor lyrics, either would have been fine -- on her computer or phone! She kept trying to upload links to other sites and random website code that had nothing to do with songs or lyrics. We explained that she needed to have her song files on her computer or phone in order to get them to us. Despite our many attempts at guiding her through, she was never able to do it. We therefore refunded her money (her bank did not do it, WE did the refund, processing it that same day -- as we ALWAYS offer a full no-questons-asked money-back guarantee).
2. We have literally tens of thousands of happy customers, who have registered hundreds of thousands of songs with us, over the past 15 years -- so uploading problems are clearly NOT an issue. But don't take our word, simply go to our online libraries (we're the only private company to offer online viewable registries) to see all the easily-uploaded songs we've received over the years.
3. The only audio formats we don't accept are WAV, and we provide free converter apps to convert them to mp3 in seconds.
4. We have no idea what this "yahoo email" issue is. ALL our email clearly shows the "from" field as coming from us at songregistration.com.
5. We are very reputable, have an A+ business rating, and have had only a handful of complaints (all of which were instantly refunded) among the tens of thousands of registrars regularly using our service since 2007.

So we're not sure how you got that file from your lyrics. Can you just send us a normal text file?
(If it came from your dropbox, just DOWNLOAD to your phone first, THEN attach it and it should work fine.)

Audio files must end in .mp3 or similar extensions. Not .html
If you are trying to send us files directly from your Dropbox, or using the Uploader to do that, that is why it is not working. As explained on the Upload page, YOUR ACTUAL SONG FILES MUST BE ON YOUR COMPUTER BEFORE YOU TRY TO UPLOAD OR EMAIL THEM TO US.
So can you just first download them to your computer or phone, THEN email them to us as attachments?

Review: Last Saturday I paid $99 to register unlimited songs with Songregistration. Their web site says they will respond quickly to any help messages if the client has trouble uploading songs. I followed all the instructions. I uploaded three different times. Each time I falied to receive the promised certificate. I emailed them with a detailed description of my problem, three times. I never heard anything from them. NO RESPONSE.Desired Settlement: Call me on the phone. Help me upload my songs and give me a registration certificate.

Hello,
We never received ANY copies of this complaint until this "final notice" message -- neither through email nor US Mail. We apologize. If it was only sent by email, perhaps it was tagged as spam (since we do get many fake Revdex.com spams).
In any case, we have just checked our logs and verified (a) that we did receive all submissions the customer sent and (b) never received ANY messages from the customer that he was having problems.
We have also verified that the uploads he complained did not go through, in fact DID go through fine. After an upload is completed by the customer, he/she is then sent to a website so they can print or save their Certificate of Registration. If they have trouble with that and let us know, we immediately email extra copies directly to the customer.
WHICH IS WHAT WE'VE JUST NOW DONE WITH THIS CUSTOMER: He has been sent new copies of his Certificates of Registration for all songs he uploaded.
We have also sent him an inquiry making sure that this is the only problem he was having. It is our policy to IMMEDIATELY remedy any problems customers are having or IMMEDIATELY refund all their fee.
We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee refund, so if after receiving the Certificates we just sent him, he tells us he is having any further problems and/or wishes a refund, we will immediately process one, no questions asked!
