I took my truck in for smogging, after I left, the heater and air didn't work anymoreJust be careful, don't get caught up in the revolving door of paying him by the way, where's his wife? I went to this spa to get [redacted] fillers in my lips. The PA that injected my lips gave me hemotomas all over my bottom lip. My lips were uneven. I had duck lips. I called sona med spa the next day to let them know I am very unhappy that my lips are lumpy looking. They said I have to wait 2 weeks then I can come in. I came in after 2 weeks and I got an injection to take out some of the filler. The PA took the filler out of the middle top part of my lip. She saved a little bit and said I can come back to get the rest taken out because my lips were still very uneven. The PA kept blaming my lips for it looking like a duck that because of the shape of my lips it was going to happen. Mind you I got my lips done at[redacted] in March and they did a wonderful job. My sisters wedding festivities were going on and for my sisters wedding festivities I had bruises, hemotomas, and uneven lips which is so embarrassing. I explained to them I need them to take the rest of the filler out of my lips. Sona Medspa refused to help me anymore. They just left me with uneven lips. They made me sign a form which I thought was to get a refund because of the hell I went through with them but instead it was for a refund and for them to no longer be responsible for anything. They wouldn't fix my lips anymore. I am very disappointed in the service I got because I truly do believe if you mess something up you should fix it. They basically left me with lumpy uneven lips! I am still so embarrassed to go anywhere. Honestly I have cancelled so many plans because of my lips. I am now so depressed because I don't know how to fix them. Sona Medspa has told me they will not fix my lips so I am unsure what to do.Product_Or_Service: Juvederm Desired SettlementI want them to fix my lips. Business Response We have been in continuous contact with the Client and have been diligent in providing ongoing care. We have provided the Client with a full refund and have not charged for any of the ongoing care provided. As we have advised the Client, there is some time needed to have the subsequent procedure take full affect. We will reach out to the Client again and reiterate this point and determine if there is anything more we can do at this time. Consumer Response Unfortunately, Sona Medspa has not contacted me since the beginning of November. I did state that they did give me my refund but they have refused to help me with my lips at this point. I was seen twice at Sona Medspa after I got the lip injection. The first time the Injecter just massaged my lips and the second time she injected me with the enzyme that breaks down the filler. I thought that when any spa has made any type of mistake on a client it is on the spa to make sure they correct the issue free of charge and in my case it's because the injector that injected my lips caused me to have hematomas and lumps all over my lips. I would think that the spa would want to make sure it heals properly. They did not want to see me again after they injected me with the enzyme. I would think that any spa would want to see their clients after this procedure so they can see how much their lips have changed but Sona Medspa did not want to see me anymore. I really am confused as to what Sona Medspa stated that they need time for the subsequent procedure to take full effect. From my first experience with fillers and what other spas state is that it just takes 10-14 days for the [redacted] to heal, all lumps, bruises and unevenness should be gone in that amount of time. I am very upset with my lips in which I stated earlier and I feel as if it doesn't matter to anyone at Sona Medspa. It's obvious that my lips are very uneven and lumpy as I was asked the other day by my aunt if I had fever blisters on my lips because of the lumpy bumps. It really is quite embarrassing to go out in public. I want Sona Medspa to inject my lips with the syringe of the enzyme to break down the filler so my lips can go back to normal. It will be 3 months in January since I got my procedure done and I would think that's more than enough time to heal and it's safe to say my lips have healed now and that I am able to get a syringe of hyaluronidase (the enzyme that will break down the [redacted]).Final Business Response We have been in contact with the Client and she will be visiting with us again on January 13 for assessment and ongoing care. We anticipate being able to resolve this issue and will provide another update to the Revdex.com after the visit.
Complaint for package purchased and irreversible damage to face I purchased a package of several services from Sona. I had one procedure, was fine. The second procedure my face swell, I had to be placed on two separate doses of steroids to avoid continued swelling and once swelling went down noticed top of my nose had several pots in it that are irreversible damage from the laser procedure. I have called Sona, talked to manager, the NP and went in to the facility for pictures of damage and was told corporate would be told and I would get refund for services not provided due to the damage they caused. I've called, and been told I would get a call back by end of the day. I've been waiting two weeks for response. This has not been a one time request, this has been an over and over request from them with no return or regard for services or damage the caused. All I asked for was refund for services they did not provide, not the service even that caused the irreversible damage. They continue to avoid me. This package was very expensive and I do not trust them to work on my face in any way ever again due to the swelling, the medical care I needed after and the damage to my nose. Desired SettlementI want Sona to refund me for services they did not provide. I bought a package of 6 services. I did one without incident, the second caused severe damage to my face that is irreversible. They won't even call me to tell me what my options for refund are. They called and tried to sell me other services for that package even after I told them several times I don't want them or anyone touching my face. I am not asking for money back even on the service they provided that caused the damage, they provided the service. I am asking for money back on services they have not even provided. Business Response /[redacted]/We have resolved the issue fully with the Client and consider the matter closed. Consumer Response /[redacted]/Sona promised me a refund and would issue me a check with 19 days of signing their release. I have received no such refund and signed their release and returned it to them. Respectfully requesting this complaint stay active until it's fully resolved and Sona refunds as promised. Final Business Response /[redacted]/We were still awaiting receipt of the release form. After receiving today's update from the Revdex.com, we spoke to the Client and with the information she provided us, we were able to locate the release form in a spam email folder. The refund is being processed immediately. We expect the Client's confirmation that the matter has been handled in a satisfactory manner will be provided to the Revdex.com within the next few days.
