I completed a training with Somatic Systems Institute in [redacted] 2014. I have repeatedly requested a copy of my certification. The last response I received from [redacted] on [redacted] 2015 is copied below... Your certification has been in effect since [redacted] have no association with [redacted] The certificate had to go to [redacted] who lives in the [redacted], and serves as the Academic [redacted] of your training course, and as such signs off on certifications processes.Additionally, as you may recall, your one-time diploma is what you receive for your studies at SSI in [redacted] On the other hand, your certificate to practice is a ongoing process of competent practice regulated by the Somatics Board of Accreditation. The SBA is a separate agency (which, as weve discussed during your training, is more or less than same people for now, due to the community still being pretty small) founded to ultimately be an independent certifying, accrediting, and continuing re-certification body for practitioners and schools.
