Solstice Hotel

Review: I made a reservation at the Solstice Hotel on [redacted] for $129 + tax. I live here but booked so my kids and I could hang out at the pool. When I arrived I was told that the price on [redacted] was wrong and they charged me $157.07. After putting our things in the room we went down to the pool. When my children jumped into the pool, they screamed and panicked getting out of the pool saying it was so cold it hurt. I went to the front desk to find out why, while my children went to start a Jacuzzi to warm up. I was told that the pool had no heater and it was only 20 degrees outside. When I got up to the room, the kids had filled the Jacuzzi but when they pressed the button for the jets, it did not work. I had them get dressed, we got our things ready and when we got to the hall it was filled with marijuana smoke. When I went to the desk, Danielle called the Regional Manager Kate and reassured me that I would be refunded and it was okay to leave. I have called 3 times, did a survey and a review, sent an email, and I have still not heard back from anyone.Desired Settlement: I would like to get the refund I was promised to get. Now that I have looked at some of their reviews, I see that there are many situations that have occurred including bed bugs and similar situations to mine. I am hoping that filing this complaint will lower their score with the Revdex.com so that this does not continue to happen for others.
