Solomon Goldberg and Associates

Review: I am questioning rather this company is legite or not they claim to have a past due debt I have the set up a payment arrangment/settlement I have apid them $308.16 but when the money was debited out of my account it showed up as :Point Of Sale Withdrawal SECUREPYMNTS[redacted] US this is what's on my bank statement as two transaction one for $100 and the other for $208.16 I have did a little reserach online and there are som amny posts that state that this company is a scam. I then took it upon myself I then called the original debtor and they stated that the debt was sold to a compnay called [redacted] phone [redacted] Its sad we leave in this type of world that individuals will pose as debt collectors and take a hrad working individuals money I am simply trying to find out if the business is legitimate and if I need to file a complaint with the attorney generals office. Solomon Goldberg and Associates sent me a letter and they are calling my place of employment.Desired Settlement: The settlement letter stated that the total debt was $1224.68 they are suppose to take $508.16 on 11/28/14 and $408.16 on 12/31/14 Please let me know if this business is a scam or not it took them 3 weeks to put together settlement letter I called twice leaving messages asking them to put it together
