school teacher and we were starting school and I have after school obligations to my students. I also stated that I wasn't painting for my business any longer. She insisted that she still wanted me to paint her boots. We made the transaction through [redacted] for $35, she shipped her boots and enclosed the return packaging. I was only charging her for the painting of the boots, not for shipping or anything else. I was unable to obtain the boots from my apartment office for several days due to me not leaving work until after the office had closed. I was unable to complete the deadline of the boots. When Ms. [redacted] emailed me, it was very unhappy which I was empathetic to and offered her a full refund or a partial if she still wanted me to complete the painting. She at that time chose for me to still paint the boots even with me letting her know I was in the midst of my career's busy season. I cannot answer this personal email on my contract time with my district. After receiving another email from Ms. [redacted], I realized I was just not going to be able to complete this task. I dropped the boots off in the postage paid for by Ms. [redacted] at an authorized [redacted] retailer. I emailed her that they had been dropped off. I sent a full refund of the $35 back to her through [redacted]. A week later I received another email stating she had not received her boots. I called the retailer that I had dropped them off at and they stated they did not still have the package in their possession. As to where her boots are now, they are somewhere in the [redacted] system and being that Ms. [redacted] bought the postage, she should have the tracking number. I have returned her money, returned her property and replied when I could. I will not however continue contact with a customer that becomes hostile when I have tried to the best of my ability to resolve this problem. Solo CreACEtions went into retirement in the summer of 2016. It is no longer a business that I operate as I knew with my career requirements becoming more demanding I could not continue to paint and ship by myself. -- Sincerely, Ashli [redacted]
