in response to the complaint,the customer is not being completely honest . we saw cut the concrete both directions ,as is normal. they did not notice the cracks till this spring after the winter of 2014.

cracks in it coming from the center of the pad. thought that was rather strange. looked around the perimeter,pad touches house on two sides, there was no sign of movement against house.on the other side pad touches a little portable shed no sign of movement there. as I got to looking closer I noticed a down spout dumping water right along the edge patio,and going under it.looks like to me water got under pad and heaved it up from the center of pad. told home owner that they need to turn the down spout and head it down hill away from patio said they would.also told them I would reseal it an watch it until next spring,if it got any worse we would split the cost and replace it. even though what caused it was the homeowner dumping the gutters right along the edge of patio,and the yard sloped to the patio. they agreed to change the down spout.
