customer service is a joke. The whole process is a joke.
I contacted Solid Financial who assured me they could help. When my creditors and ERG(the company that is servicing my account) took the money out of my account I wanted out of working with ERG and solid ground. I was told by ERG rep that he would get them to refund my money. I ended up with 200 dollars of overdraft fees. As I did not plan on all that money coming out of my account. He was able to get them to refund my money. I asked about the overdrafts as they are responsible. He said he would contact the lenders, my bank, and if need be see what ERG could do. I told him to refund me 200 dollars. He never answered that question. He told me on 3 separate occasions he would call me he never did. I have emailed daily. No answers. I called the number he gave me only to be disconnected. When I finally was able to get through they were closed. I want my payment back. I would never recommend Solid Ground. They mislead you. You think you are working with them and you aren't. I feel lied to, scammed and cheated.

Desired Outcome

I want my first payment refunded and no further business with Solid Ground or *** Group.

I was garnished anyway and no calls were made on my behalf and yes I want my one payment refunded
I joined this program 09/19/2019 and my loans were still in good standing. The rep I was told that my lenders would be contacted to let them know I was in the program and then with my second payment they would start to negotiate with them about my pay back to lenders. I was garnished I called them and told them and the rep was only concerned about my payment. I was told to contact customer service about that and I was just emailed a letter that I couldn't sign and I asked for a pdf so I could sign and no one ever got back to me...I spoke with my lenders and they said they never heard anything from this company... But when I missed my payment I was sent all types of emails and text messages about it but no help for the garnishment??

Proof of Debts that were paid off
I signed a contract with NCS, Negotiation Credit Services on March 14, 2014, to pay off debts with payday loan companies. I need proof of debts that were paid off. I now have companies threatened to sue because they have no proof the debts were settled and paid

No results, no response and just bad communication altogether
I signed up with Solid Ground in October 2018, only to find out a month later that I was enrolled with Crown not Solid Ground, first problem but it was explained by Crown and I was satisfied with the answer. However, 5 months later and $1,400 dollars spent nothing has been done to settle my loans. The contact at Crown even told me that they don't negotiate on my behalf and that I have misunderstood the entire program. Obviously this is not what I signed up for. I spoke with *** at Solid Ground to which he told me that he would contact Crown personally and get my issue resolved or even get me a refund. I haven't heard anything from him since he said that. I feel taken advantage of and stupid since I could have settled my loans twice over by now but instead I'm at the risk of being sued over them.

Desired Outcome

I want a full refund of everything I have paid into this program or I want proof that my money is being used the way I was told it would be. And by proof I want to see physical results.

I received an acceptable response from this company and would like to withdraw my complaint. There was blame on both sides and I don't feel like they should be punished.

They claimed to contact my lendors and resolve debt on my behalf. None of my lendors have been contacted by them and solid is already taking money.
I worked with *** at Solid Ground. I was told that if I paid 198 and some change twice a month that I could reduce my debt in their 20 month program. I was sent all of this legal paperwork, and they ensured me that my lendors were contacted on 10/15/18. None of my lendors have been contacted. When I asked for proof of contact, the screen shot didn't actualky show any proof that my lendors were contacted. The customer service rep from the encompass group that solid ground uses couldn't event tell me what fax numbers they sent the power of attorney to on my behalf. I spoke to a one of my lendors and Cc'd her on an email to *** and ***. *** said that he would y'all to my lendors but he wanted her to contact him. He didn't make the effort as the debt consolidator to contact her. Also, when *** sent me the sketchy screenshot to prove that my lendors were contacted, the screenshot had names of other people who were supposedly using their services across the top. At this point, I am concerned that my information is in the wrong hands. They've already started taking money out of my account but did not even send me any detail on the 20 month program explaining how much of my money would go to which lendors on what dates. Sometimes they respond to my communication when I question, other times they ignore. At this point, I want my money back and they have caused me to be in more debt, believing that they had made contact when they had not. That's fraudulent.

I gained more more debt during the process of them supposedly contacting my lendors. The owe em the money the took from my account. Honestly, I'd ask for $1,00 in the real world because I spent September and October adding debt, believing that they made contact with my lendors. I am more behind now then I would have been had I knew up front that they were not legitimately contacting my lendors.

The company misrepresented what they could do for me, they lied to me about how their service would affect my credit, timelines, & the total expense.
I signed a contract with Solid Ground Financial on 9-13-17 to work with my payday loan companies to receive reasonable settlements and to assist me with debt relief. They affirmed and reaffirmed that the debt companies would not report negatively on my credit, which was not true. Rise credit is reporting 61 days late now. They told me that they would assess my debts, set my payment amounts, and as the agreements were reached the total would be adjusted and my payments would change. Nearly four months later they have collected $993.84, and only paid $260.00 towards my debts. I am now in a huge mess with my credit and worse off than ever. I want a refund.

Desired Outcome

They have done minimal work on my behalf. They did not settle amounts, they divided payments up and stretched the amount out to 10 months to get the most money for them, not for me the client. They did not honor the spirit of our agreement. I would like a $400.00 refund, which does not cover the damage that has been done to my credit, the waste of time, and effort that I have endured.

My name is *** and I am the Operations Manager. Your email was forwarded to my attention. I apologize for not responding to your email sooner we were out of the off in observance of the holidays. I looked over your file and would like you to reconsider cancelling with us.

As of today all of your lenders are in agreement with the program. You are pending graduation. MoneyTree was resolved for the full balance only because the account was a first payment default. *** from Money Tree advised us that you borrowed $500 and never made any payments. We never guarantee settlements. Your Payment History, Loan Type and Lenders all factor in to our ability to settle your debts. Rise Credit was resolved for $370.00 current balance was $738.91. Quick Cash was resolved for $465.00 current balance was $620. *** from Quick Cash advised that $500 was borrowed and $0 paid, also first payment default. Often times these lenders renew loans each time you borrow and don't take into consideration previous payments made on prior loans.

Our fees are in writing on your agreement for our services. We never charge more fees than disclosed only lower based on current balances. Your program is essentially completed all agreements are in writing with the lenders.

Signed up with Solid Ground about 6 weeks ago and payments are not being drafted and sent to creditors. Appears they use a third party company called RAM which is a switch from the original company they used. I called RAM and was placed in hold and then discinnected twice. Also sent email to RAM's customer service 2 weeks ago and no response. Solid Ground also says they set you up with a legal plan, but since creditors are not being paid they are cancelling my enrollment leaving me no legal protection. Very disappointed with experience so far.

We spent $3600+ in 2 months and the collection calls didn't stop. Cancelled today, I am sure we are out the $3600. Seemed to good to be true,
We spent $3600 in two month and the collection calls didn't stop, they said it would after the first month. The companies said they had not been contacted by a negotiator, one even repoted to a credit bureau. We talked with a lawyer, the problem can be resolved for a lot less than what we were paying

I know I'm a little late for this review, but better late than never! I used SGF 3 years ago as I was under a lot of stress due to all the Cash Advance loans I had gotten myself into. I was treated like a human being and not judged by my mistakes. I was done in less than a year and I am still debt free to this day. I am forever grateful and would recommend this company to anyone who is in need of some help. Customer Service was great! Thanks again for giving me my life back.

This company is legit!! Very kind and forthcoming about what to expect. They saved my so much from the mess I got myself into. Jonathan was my liaison at the beginning and was professional and genuine. Great company.

Signed up for a debt relief settlement program. They failed to settle with my creditors.
Registered with Solid Ground Financial April 2017. In May I received notification of a new contract to sign which stated my payments were to be once a month, different from the original contract I signed. They continued to pull payments twice a month. They also stated they would be making contact with my creditors and provide legal protection. When contacting their legal plan "Veritas" they responded that I would not be covered with them until July 3 of 2017 and the summons I received in the mail from one of my creditors May 9th would not be eligible for the legal protections I was paying for, this resulted in a judgement against my name for $469.47. Additionally I never received any of the financial "counseling" paperwork/kit in the mail.

Desired Outcome

I would like the two payments of $145.03 taken out on May 1st and May 23rd to be refunded to my bank account attached with the ACH withdrawal. (total of $290.06)

Hello ***. Your information is completely incorrect. You only made one payment to us for 145.03. The next 4 payments went NSF. Your legal protection plan started on 05/22/17 with a 14 day grace period. Unfortunately you didn't make any more payments and your plan was cancelled. We spoke to your lenders but every payment you made went NSF. Ive attached your payment history below.

As you can see one payment was cleared. Went to your legal protection plan coverage. I can put in for a refund with the attorneys if you like. However, if your scheduled payments were made as in your agreement you wouldn't of even came close. You have to focus on your payments. Your account has been closed due to high NSF RATE. Thank you

I am happy to provide the email from veritas legal plan that I received on MAY stating that my plan did not start until July 4th- I am also happy to provide the documentation that stated after June 1st I wanted all auto withdrawals ceased from my Ideal credit Union bank account. Since making contact Mid June with Revdex.com and what I thought was a resolution - Solid Ground has made 2 more attempts to withdrawal funds that were not in my account- and from my understanding per the previous Revdex.com filing - ALL withdrawals were to have stopped and that Solid Ground should have never taken my case. Thankfully I have the voicemail saved also from this follow up and are happy to present this as evidence of a clearly poorly managed business company.

I was working with this company to consolidate debt and for credit repair/negotiations. I was lied to while they took my money every month.
They took monthly payments to pay off my creditors but now i'm getting correspondence saying these creditors were never paid off.

Desired Outcome

I would like a full refund of the money they claimed to have paid and letters showing which creditors were settled and paid off.

I would highly recommend this company. I was I dire need and felt I had no opinions, I was negative every payday and couldn't handle anymore stress or pressure in my life. they gave me the peace of mind to continue living. if you are in this situation, make that call and give yourself a peace of mind.

I used Solid Ground Financial a couple of years ago when I ran into a financial hardship with payday loans. The helped me get my payday loans paid off and settled for less and the program even ended before I was originally quoted so they saved me money. I had to turn to them again recently because I am going through a divorce and ran into another financial hardship. They are helping me again with payday loans and I know I am in good hands. I really like Solid Ground because they actually pay off your debts unlike other companies I have checked in to. The representatives are easy to contact and get back to you right away!!
