I have left several messages but have not received any calls back from them. Whenever I call them I get the same message, "There is one caller ahead of you. You may push the star button at any time to leave a message." Eventually, the message changes to, "Sorry we missed your call. Please leave your name... and we will return your call within 24 hours." But we never get a call back.
After seeing these other reviews, I see that we're not the only ones who have been cheated by Solgen. I was informed by my bank that there are multiple complaints against Solgen and that there is a class action suit currently in the works against them. I sure hope that is the case!

#solgenpowertucsonWe are still waiting for Heather to call us back months later. I have every conversation recorded when speaking to your wanna be customer service representatives.
We gave you ample time to fix your wrongs but you've clearly shown us you don't care.
My system doesn’t even produce 1kw a day. It’s between .5kw and .75kw a day it should be producing 50-60kw a day during August.
This is all topped off with the fact that during my sales meeting I asked what panels I’d be getting I was told Sunpower panels, then after install I ask again and find out they sold me ZNshine, a very cheap knock off for the same price as what I would have paid for Sunpower panels. They also lied to me about the warranty told me it was 25 years and would not supply me with a product sheet (thought I found it on google as they told me sun power) turns out ZNshine is only 12 years and they don’t actually honor the warranties claims they have received. Big surprise, two scam companies are in cahoots. I have contacted an attorney, they recommend I attempt to solve the issue with Solgen first. I’ve given them till the end of September 2022 to have all Solgen garbage off of my property and a full refund or I will be suing them for the 43k worth of junk they sold me as well as the 10-15k another company will charge me to remove this equipment and dispose of it and maybe I can get something for the headache. My salesman Chris Arneson will be named in the lawsuit as well as he used predatory sales tactics and lied about everything.
I have been in contact with Solgen, over the course of the entire deal they have returned 1 out of 60-70 calls I’ve made to them. Absolute incompetence. They claim to have excellent customer service, hahaha! What a joke
SOLGEN Power is a scam. They lie to people to make their sales. One of their owners actually laughed at me and told me that’s why they have a contract (very vaguely worded), so they can’t be responsible for what their sales people tell their clients. Search *** and you will find a page that explains this very thing in detail and there are others out there who have gotten scammed by them as well. BEWARE!!

Solgen Power came and gave us a quote of 160 dollars a month for our loan for solar panels. They said when you get down to 75% of your loan it will go down even more and there is no time limit. Hayden the sales rep told us that we could use our WSU grant that we will be getting in Oct (after the maturity date of the loan) to help with that 25%. Time comes for payment and CCSolarBank is saying that we owe 290 dollars a month now and that we missed the timeframe to pay down the 25%. Never were we told or saw any paperwork about the time it was "DUE". Now our entire loan is 130$ more a month than we agreed to. Hayden seemed nice at first but now I realize that they were just saying anything to get us to sign up. We would not have installed solar panels if that was the agreed upon price per month. Not one time did he mention that amount. All the online docu signs said was 17,000 due now and 17,000 due upon completion and Hayden said oh don't worry that is just the way the bank makes us do it. Also, we were quoted to get about 65% off our electric and I understand weather can make a difference but in the dead summer we are getting maybe 8% off the power.
We had our Energy Consultant Hayden C associated with this project reach out to the customer at hand regarding the situation.
Hayden spoke with *** and *** confirmed that they understood that the 25% pay-down was required to lower the payment. That 25% pay-down comes from claiming the solar system on their Federal Taxes. When they claimed their system. They only received about $2,500 in their tax claim. We estimated based on their income and how much they pay in taxes that they should have received more in their tax return from the system. We strongly recommend that she looks into having an accountant look at their taxes to verify they are getting the most they possibly can. The reason that her loan payment would increase was that the default interest rate is now a lot higher. We also addressed that we would look at her current electric bill to compare their consumption to their production of the system. We do not guarantee offset percentage of the bill because we cannot control shading, time of year, or weather. We use that offset percentage to give the customer a better understanding of what we estimate the offset of their bill should look like. I have attached a copy of their production from Year to Current Date. Based on these numbers, they are on pace of how they should be producing as we estimated their system in a year should produce around 10.8MWH per year. Since the system is producing exactly what it should be, my assumption would be is that their consumption of power has increased.
Our plan of action is to see if we can reach out to the Bank they financed with and to see if she puts the remaining 25% down if they could still lower the interest rate back down to what it's supposed to be. We will also see if there is an option to do a new solar loan through a different bank that might be able to help keep the payments low.
