Upon researching this matter, we discovered there was an error made on the part of a former sales associate at our company. On October 24, 2016, [redacted] cancelled her membership in our Edison location. Because it was past the 20th of the month, she was informed that she would receive 1...

additional charge as per our membership agreement. The associate that assisted her made the error of not updating her credit card on file and therefore the payment did not go through. It was an error on our part. Shawn reached out to [redacted] once receiving this complaint, apologized and rectified the situation. I spoke with her today as well and everything has been resolved satisfactorily. Please let me know if there is anything else you need. Thank you.Ref ID # [redacted]

HelloHis had been resolved favorably with the guest. Thank you

Review: Tried to cancel membership 6 months ago. sent letter. havent attended location since. thought it was over with. got bill from collections agency saying I owe $116. I called the collections agency. told them I refuse to pay. then I tried to call Soleil tans 3 different times. the corporate office never picks up phone tells u to leave name and phone # which I did but they never returned my call. I sent another letter last week explaining situation and telling them to cancel and get rid of my outstanding bill. it was returned to me today marked MLNA. I tried calling again, no answer. Read reviews on [redacted] other people complained about it being impossible to cancel. there was a response on 1 review from the CEO [redacted]. left his phone number and said to call him he would help out. I called that number phone did not ring and no option to leave voicemail.Desired Settlement: I want my bill that was sent to collections to be eliminated. I want no future charges to my account. if my credit score is affected I want that to be reversed. a letter or phone call apologizing would be nice. and changing the policy to make it easier to cancel should be done. something online with an immediate email confirmation of cancellation. no games with waiting for letters in the mail and all this stuff.

Review: I signed up for tanning and gave 30 day written notice & telephoned them July 2014. I have been going to this salon for over 10 years and always canceled for the winter via regular mail & telling the front desk.v I would sign up again in the spring. This has happened once before & was corrected immediately. My membership was never canceled nor have my emails have been answered. I am owed 4 months refund which totals $93.56. Below is the email I received from a nasty [redacted]~

" With whom did you speak with from the front desk? I apologive for the time lapse, I had gotten a new email, becuase this was getting filled with SPAM mail.

Thank you, [redacted] Soleil Tans [redacted] The email is still the same one I have been using previously. I have all the emails & a copy of the letter I sent them.Desired Settlement: I want a refund for 4 months $23.39 x 4 = $93.56.

They are not authorized to be charging my credit card.

Thank you.

Review: We got notice that we were moving to ** in July so I went in to the Sayreville, NJ tanning salon and I told the young lady at the desk that I needed to cancel my membership because we were moving to **. She did a few things on the computer and said that I was good to go. I didn’t think about it much after that because I assumed she had done her job properly. After we moved I noticed that the monthly dues were still being taken out of my account so I called the salon and told them the issue. They told me I needed to call a number and they would give me the address to send a certified letter to with my signature to cancel. So, mid-August, I sent that letter certified via [redacted]. I called numerous times in September to confirm my cancellation but I was never able to get anyone on the phone. The corporate phone service wasn’t fully functional and no one answered the phone no matter when I called. Then, when the dues were taken out AGAIN in October I was pretty upset. I called and left multiple voicemails multiple times/week trying to get a response. I finally got so fed up with things that I left a voicemail with “[redacted]” and I told him that I was prepared to take Soleil Tans to the Revdex.com over this horrendous customer service and the dues that have continued to be taken from my account. From October on I seemed to be playing a game of phone tag with Sean Smith that I could never win. If I answered the call I would only hear silence on the other end. If I missed the call I would call back immediately and be sent to his voicemail again. I have called every single day, multiple times per day for nine weeks now and I haven’t reached a human being yet! Finally, I decided to call the salon that I used before the move and see what they could figure out for me. I find it VERY interesting that the man from the salon was able to reach someone in the corporate office IMMEDIATELY and give me an email address to contact. I have sent that address multiple e-mails with no response.Desired Settlement: I need to be reimbursed for the months that I was supposed to have been cancelled from the service. So, $23.39 for August, September, October, November, December 2014 AND January 2015. That totals $140.34. And I would like confirmation from the company that my account is cancelled.

Review: I joined soleil on a groupon for tanning. One day I needed a tan and got a prorated membership that would have lasted me through the end of the month. I called headquarters next day to cancel the membership. No answers. I have attempted calling and emailing them to have them cancel my membership with no luck. Im sick of the monthy notices that the account is past due!Desired Settlement: They refund the account and stop sending me delayed payments notices
