Sold me land they were not legally allowed to sell

Online land sales sold me a property they were not legally allowed to sell me according to the county clerk of that Minnesota region. I contacted them via telephone and email repeatedly for several weeks and they failed to ever provide me with the Parcel ID so that I could officially verify this. They continuously ignored me and failed to return my calls. Once the next payment was due and I refused to pay is when they finally came up with the story that although they were not legally allowed to sell me the property now that they were financing it to me and that after I had paid the full amount is when they would take the steps to legally divide their property and sell me the acreage they had sold me. No other property company I have purchased online from has ever resorted to these tactics or been frauds like this company is.

Also when you look at their site you see they claim you will quickly get a hard copy version of your contract and a coupon book. This never arrived even after I told them I did not receive it and they said they would send it again. Basically they just did not deliver in amy way, but they did begin hassling me immediately about writing a positive review online for them before I could even verify if they were really legitimate. I wasn't too worried about taking the risk initially and making the purchase since I did it through paypal and paypal is very good about refunding money when a sale is fraudulent like this one. Also because the initial payment is so small. But they also tried to get me to pay more sooner than my due date and I believe this is because they knew there was a risk I would discover they were not legitimate and it might be all the $ they would receive.
