[redacted] needed a repair on his boiler and because I was out on surgery we were subcontracting out all our boiler workI made arrangements for [redacted] to do our jobs in my downtime I have no idea what they said to him but [redacted] told me they said our install, from 4-years ago, was not to code (it was passed by the code inspector) It took some time for [redacted] to send me a list of what was wrong Most of the needed work had nothing to do with the install or code violations When I got their response this Monday I sent [redacted] an email and told him I would take care of the design problems which are plumbing the relief line to within 12" of the floor and creating an air gap in the currently sealed drain that the condensation line used They were not impacting the operation of his system in any way I suggested he allow [redacted] to perform the remaining maintenance work as my staff is not able to do this until I get back to work full time

install, from 4-5 years ago, was not to code (it was passed by the code inspector). It took some time for [redacted] to send me a list of what was wrong. Most of the needed work had nothing to do with the install or code violations. When I got their response this Monday I sent [redacted] an email and told him I would take care of the design problems which are plumbing the relief line to within 12" of the floor and creating an air gap in the currently sealed drain that the condensation line used. They were not impacting the operation of his system in any way. I suggested he allow [redacted] to perform the remaining maintenance work as my staff is not able to do this until I get back to work full time.
