Review: I bought a 5 speed Civic from owner Joe D[redacted]. Shortly afterward it began popping out of 5th gear. I brought it back to him as it was under warranty. He told me he had the tranny "serviced" and it seemed ok for a while. A couple of months later, after the warranty expired of course, it began doing it again. After catching him in a lie about the "servicing" that was never done, he admitted he ONLY "topped it off". I suspect he filled it with sawdust or some other "trick" UNSCRUPULOUS dealers use to hide defects until the WARRENTY EXPIRES. He now takes NO RESPONSIBILITY, and, not suprisingly, doesn't return my emails of calls. I paid $2200 to have the tranny rebuilt, over $300 in car rentals, and another $300 to replace the defective rotors he also sold me. I am a disabled senior walking with a cane.I will now be paying the credit card off for years and with interest he will have screwed me out of well over $3000. I don't even know how I'm going to make the minimum payment.Desired Settlement: solar shades pay for repairs to a defect that existed when I bought the car and was covered under warrenty.
