I'm writing to respond to your letter dated October 12 regarding Revdex.com ID [redacted]. I will Write a description of the transaction described by [redacted] below, and I will provide copies of correspondence with [redacted] and copies of the publications that I reference.Stacy B[redacted] is the advertising...

sales representative for the [redacted] Show Directory and the [redacted] Show Daily. [redacted] stands for [redacted] a solar industry trade show owned by two nonprofit entities, the [redacted]) and the [redacted]). The [redacted] Show Directory and the [redacted] Show Daily are published by [redacted] from [redacted], LLC purchased a full-page advertisement in the 2017 [redacted] Show Directory for $3,250, was billed for that advertisement with invoice #[redacted], and paid the invoice using his [redacted] Card. [redacted] was having difficulty reading/understanding the advertising specification sheet for the publications and asked Ms. B[redacted] for clarification on size. Ms. B[redacted] sent [redacted] the size for the ad in an email and unfortunately made a typo. [redacted] sent [redacted] a pdf file containing three different advertisements and instructed Ms. B[redacted] to allow the [redacted] designer to pick any of the three advertisements. The ads were the wrong size and would not bleed off the page properly. The designer selected an advertisement and corrected the size by cloning areas on the left and right side of the page to make the advertisement bleed properly. When the file was saved, the designer mistakenly saved the file as grayscale rather than color. Nobody caught the error because the original ad was primarily black and white with the headline in green, 10 green bullets, and green and yellow logos. I have attached the original ad (page 11, [redacted] Show Daily Wednesday) and the ad (page 12, [redacted] Show Directory) that we ran for your review. On Monday, September 11, during [redacted] I was notified that the ad had run incorrectly. [redacted] called Ms. B[redacted] to complain about the ad and demanded that we do something about the mistake. He demanded to talk with me about the error. apologized over and over. I let him know that the error was our fault. I explained how it happened and told him that I would run the ad in color in the Wednesday edition of the SP Show Daily at no charge. He said that he didn't want the new ad but wanted a refund and an apology. In addition, he wanted to have editorial control over the apology. We agreed on the wording, and I placed the apology in the Tuesday edition of the [redacted] Show Daily. [redacted] continued to call to complain about our error throughout the day on Monday. He told Ms. B[redacted] that he thought we hadn't shown "enough remorse" despite the fact that I admitted to the error and apologized multiple times. Eventually, he called me again to complain. I asked him what we could do to make him feel better. I reminded him that I had offered to run the ad in the Wednesday [redacted] Show Daily. Nothing would satisfy him. In the end, we ran his advertisement for a second time in the Wednesday edition of the [redacted] Show Daily (page 11), and we ran an apology in the Tuesday (page 22) and Wednesday (page 22) editions of the [redacted] Show Daily. In addition, we agreed to refund $3,250.The story should really end here, but the next argument with [redacted] ensued when we offered to refund his [redacted] card. He informed us that his [redacted] card had been cancelled and demanded that we write him a check. We were reluctant to write him a check as he could, and in our opinion likely would, contact [redacted] for a chargeback against our merchant account, which would result in a double refund. We researched the original payment, which was made in 2016, and because the [redacted] charge was so old, we agreed to write him a check.Again, the story should end here, but [redacted] insisted that the check be mailed to a bank in LaJolla, California, made payable to [redacted] personally rather than to [redacted], LLC. This request seemed outside of the norm to the CFO at Solar Energy Trade Shows, and she ultimately made the check payable to [redacted] and sent the check to the Company address in Miami, Florida. Check number [redacted] was sent to [redacted], LLC at the address shown on their advertisement on October 5. Solar Power International ended on September 13. Most of the [redacted] staff returned to the office on September 25 and the check was mailed to [redacted], LLC seven business days later.Because the request to have the refund check made out to an individual rather than the company seemed unorthodox, the CFO called [redacted] to make sure that one of their employees was not running a scam on them. This call has fueled the fire with [redacted], who is outraged that the call was made. The bottom line is that [redacted] received two free ads and two written apologies for an honest mistake that was made. He is still not satisfied. The reality is that we made [redacted] whole when we ran his ad a second time in the Wednesday Show Daily, but we went the extra mile and refunded his advertising fee as well. In addition to the information provided above, I Would like to point out that [redacted] has emailed and called every employee in the [redacted] office with threats and harassment, and we are all frankly tired of him. In his latest tirade (attached), he complains that we omitted the suite number on the address when we mailed him his check. We mailed the check to the address on his advertisement. Sincerely, Tim W[redacted] Presidentcc [redacted] CFO[redacted] President & CEO
