These guys were able to provide me a High effienct true variable AC unit, a Hybrid Hot water, a variable speed pool pump an IWAVE air purifier and complete a new roof, gutter system and a full Solar System for a great price point and in record time. These guys are in my opinion a top-notch Solar company that have a niche in the market. They have great financing options with no money down. Rod *** and Ron *** were our contacts with Solar Energy Specialist Corp (SES). We purchased a 9.1 kw system. It was ordered just prior to the Corona -19 pandemic. The system was activated on 5/22/20. We could not be more satisfied with the performance of SES as represented by Rod and Ron. The installation took a little longer than quoted but with a pandemic shutting down everything the company deserves an A+ , 5 star review. We obtained three quotes prior to contracting SES and found them to have the lowest price. When the pandemic broke out, Rod called and asked if we needed anything and brought over some supplies within a few hours. The installation team was professional, did not leave any mess for me to clean up and told me exactly when the job would be finished. If you choosed SES to install your solar system you will be totally satisfied.

After researching 5 companies we settled on Solar Energy Specialist. Rafael was very informative, came to our HOA meeting to explain the installation, answered our calls and gave us good time lines, showed up at the install yesterday and was there for the whole time. Great service would highly recommend. Hopeful D will hold up there end and we can be solar in a couple weeks, lol.

We got our solar energy system from Gary B of Solar Energy Specialist. They did an awesome job installing our solar system. Gary was extremely professional and very knowledgeable. He explained everything in detail as to how solar worked and what size system we would need to meet our requirements. From sitting down with us discussing what size system we needed to the actual installation and then the follow up after the install the customer service was outstanding. I would highly recommended them to anyone looking to get a solar energy system.

first off I would like to say that ron was the best salesman the first day we met we were never pressured to purchase like other solar companies that give nonstop phone calls and knocking at you're door we went over my Bill's to figure how many panels will be good for me and my family especially during those Florida summer day's carefully going over the the financial part picking the best finance company that would benefit me. fast install date and and the installers were great cause as a new home owner I was worried about my roof but I was assured and shown that the hole's would be sealed properly they walked around with me very patiently knowing my concerns and assured me all was well after the installation ron called to see how happy I was with the entire process also the owner took a few minutes to call me and see how I liked the entire install and process we had experienced.......over all great company, solar system great team of people over all would definitely refer them to anyone I know who is looking to save money and clean energy....great experience!

Let me start with my dad is a retired deputy sheriffs officer of Orange County Sheriffs Office of almost 35 years. He always used to do the home improvements on my childhood home but, unfortunately, my dad is like Tim Allen's character from the show Home Improvement. My dad would start a renovation, complete 70-80% of it and then move on to the next project and over the years those projects have piled up. Additionally, to those incomplete home renovations, the house itself has been in dire need of updates since it was originally built in 79' (for example: the carpet is still original in the bedrooms. Eww).
At this point in my father's life, he has many health ailments and chief among them is his Parkinsons Disease which has affected him over the years and finally progressed to a point where his mobility has been severely limited - he is mostly in a wheelchair now with some ability to walk around on good days. To say my dad is disabled and 90% confined to using a wheelchair would be an understatement. It's taken me 10+ years but I've finally convinced my dad to allow my husband and I or a professional to complete or start the home renovations.
Several months ago, my dad decided it was finally time to get solar panels. It doesn't matter how conscientious we are of turning off fans and lights when not present in a room, unfortunately, the power companies can continue to charge you more no matter what you do. The solution was to go to solar panels. It's expensive yes, however, it pays for itself right around 10 years. And since we (my husband, dad, and I) have no intention of moving anytime soon... Dad made appointments with different companies to come talk to us.
There were 3-4 different companies that came and gave quotes. There was only one that initially stood out and I think it says something that I can't even remember their name because Solar Energy Specialists had been our last appointment. Wasn't originally impressed with the representative who came out and spoke to my dad and I because he was a bit pushy (I would like to add that that particular sales rep no longer works for the company). So, Dad originally wanted the other company - which again, for the life of me, I can't recall their name. But out of respect for the other solar companies who stopped by, we called to let them know we weren't going to take their business, which at the time, also included Solar Energy Specialists.
Solar Energy Specialists called us back almost immediately. They wanted a second chance and the opportunity to compete with the other offers made. So, we figured, why not? Next thing we knew, that phone call was passed to the owner of the company Gary B. That definitely got my dad's attention and to be honest, mine as well. We then had a new appointment with the owner of the company for the next day. Not only was Gary on time but he was prepared as well that if my dad wanted Solar Panels he was going to make sure he got them at the best deal and price he could offer. Gary surprised us because he is so not what you expect when you think or hear of someone being a "business owner." He's kind, personable, approachable, down to earth and you can easily talk to this man and think of him as family. Needless to say, twenty-four solar panels later, a hybrid water heater to replace our regular one, topping off the insulation in the attic, and Gary also made it part of the deal to fix a previous hack job with the AC ductwork in the attic from a former AC company that took advantage of my dad's disability status. All of that and Solar Energy Specialists came in at 2-5 thousand dollars lower than the previous companies and did so much more. In addition to all that, Gary also upgraded my dad to their highest end converters that attach to the panels.
Going forward with this company, EVERY SINGLE INDIVIDUAL has done quality work, treated my dad with courteousness and respect without making him feel handicap and or disabled, been nothing but polite to every single one of us, been as prompt as life allows in completing their work and being on time (if a situation arose where life happened we were made aware and kept in the loop, although, quite a bit of those situations was my dad extending their work completion because he liked what he saw and wanted them to do more). Solar Energy Specialists use nothing but the best materials and they last. The company only does business with good quality vendors and keeps the most excellent, most knowledgeable, hard workers employed.
It almost seemed too good to be true and at any point we waited for that other shoe to drop. It never did. It never has. And at this point? I'm honestly of the opinion it never will. Throughout this process my dad and I were introduced to another amazing worker from Solar Energy Specialist's named Ron B. I'd like to say he's the man behind the scenes, but he really isn't because there's no "behind the scenes" for Ron. Ron is 100% the "go to guy" and he'll be the first to proudly tell you that he wears many hats. And he has every right to be proud of that fact because Ron is the man ON the scene. Ron is actively involved in all aspects of every part of the company itself. On many occasions, he has been the first on our property and the last to leave for the day. The man has even done personal check-in's throughout the whole process of us doing business with their company to make sure things were going smoothly and there wasn't anything he could do to expedite anything. Later learned Ron used to own his own business in another state building houses and doing other contracting work. Ron's a general contractor with 30+ years' experience who knows when, how, and where things should be done and came on-board to oversee everything for my dad's home. I'm pretty sure at this point in time that man doesn't sleep.
The thing that I love most about this company is that they aren't perfect but you better damn well better believe they do everything they can to try to be. Mind you, we MET with this company in early September of this year and have since had a completed installation of our solar panels, hybrid water heater, and insulation in our attic topped off. There was a minor hiccup with the solar panels initially as some took damage during shipment - which was in no way our fault or the solar companies. But Ron and Gary got on the phone and tracked down a warehouse in California that had more and Gary paid (at his expense) to have them expedited and at our house in less than a week so that the solar panels could all be here and installed on our roof. What company does that these days? Most will tell you that you're out of luck and have to wait however much time to get the replacements. Solar Energy Specialist's didn't. We had our other 6 at our house and installed in a week. There was a brief hiccup with our new hybrid water heater being delivered. I got a phone call from Solar Energy Specialist's as soon as they found out that their vendor ran out and was waiting for more inventory and waited late to let them know. Again, it wasn't the solar companies fault but they took care of it. They pushed for our new water heater to be shipped ASAP and we had it a week later installed, hooked up, and shown how to use the settings. Our initial inspection we failed on because, again this house was built in 79', because our power supply/electrical box was too close to our AC unit and that only mattered because our solar box was connected to the electrical box outside. Again, not the solar companies fault. But you better believe they worked with us ASAP to help us get the AC unit moved so that we could pass inspection. As it was, we happened to end up with an inspector who had a chip on his shoulder and kept coming back failing us on inspections because of finicky things he found that had no bearing except for the original AC placement. Solar Energy Specialist's kept us informed and handled it.
I'm pretty sure we were what you would call a "challenging client" and only because just about anything that could go wrong, went wrong at some point. But every single one of their employee's (be it top tier or bottom workers) always handled those hurdles and hiccups with patience, grace, and a professionalism that would make anyone jealous... and if that didn't work, they sent in Ron : ). Don't get me wrong, Ron has all those same qualities, but somehow that man can get something pushed through, passed, or accomplished that others can't because he can be relentless in the best way possible. Even with any and all challenges that briefly came up, we met with this company, worked out a deal, had everything installed, inspected and passed in FOUR months. How many other solar companies can brag that they got everything done in that amount of time when I see others complaining they still don't have theirs installed 6-9 months after buying? How many other companies fight for you after you purchase to make sure everything is on-time, expedited, or completed within a fast time? None that I've seen or met. Over the years of dealing with businesses this is the first I've seen that wants you to have your product as much as you want it, love their work, and are dedicated and passionate to getting it done.
My dad, husband, and I have fallen in love with this company and it's come as one of the biggest surprises with Solar Energy Specialist's that they DON'T JUST INSTALL SOLAR. They have so many experienced people working with them that have 10-30+ years' experience that solar installation isn't all that they do. They do so much more. They have several partners that make it possible for them to also do re-roofing, construction, security cameras, fencing, signage... it's endless and if they don't have their hand in it personally, they have a partner, or a referral to someone who does.
So far, any and all work my dad has contracted them to do was all in-house. During the four-month process of getting our solar up and running we've also had construction done in the house: new dry-wall installed, popcorn ceilings removed, knockdown added or redone, the walls painted, and wooden beams removed from the ceilings. And it was all fantastically done by an awesome guy named Jeremy that works through their company. Took a hair longer than they estimated but it was only to make sure that the work they did was perfect (older house in desperate need up upgrades and TLC) and they were accommodating to every last detail.
As of right now, we are currently waiting until after the Christmas holidays for all the doors in the house to be replaced and doorways widened to make getting around easier for my dad (which is also going to involve them checking and moving a lot of electrical as well). We have a new neighbor who is building some sketchy houses next door to us and have been using our front lawn as a freeway while driving over our septic after asking them 2x already not to. I called Ron after the 3rd time and low and behold he had someone out to our house the next morning to put up a temporary construction fence. Ron has also been helping and advising us in stopping the individual next door as they are also encroaching on our property line. Needless to say, we are also using Solar Energy Specialist's to install a fence soon and an estimate is being done for security camera's as we've had some issues there as well.
We almost didn't initially go with this company and I'm grateful that my dad and I changed our minds because if we hadn't it would have been a huge mistake. This company has been a god-send in the best way. They are competitive in their pricing and will more than go the extra mile for you to get things done. Hell, they'll run the race for you instead. They are without a doubt what I would call a multi-faceted company that does EVERYTHING, uses the highest quality materials, the most dedicated and devoted people on staff, and if something doesn't fit right within the company they don't keep it (remember the original sales rep I mentioned?). Any additional work or edit to an existing job my dad has wanted they've taken in stride and always been easily adaptable to my dad who is not always so easy to please. The only other thing I'd want to mention is that they are also so honest it hurts. They will be up front with you. They will tell you how it is about something and not feed you a bunch of crap. They won't try and take you for all your worth. They won't lie to you. You don't have to be concerned with their crews trying to steal from you while working in your home. And a perfect example of their patience and honesty which is SUCH a great reflection of character? My dad isn't good with technology and has to have it explained to him repeatedly. And both several of their workers and Ron have explained things to my dad (like how to operate the hybrid water heater) more times than I have fingers and NEVER ONCE have they complained to me, rolled their eyes, or been frustrated with having to go over it again. I've never seen a group of people work so well with elderly or disabled individuals. More than once my dad had a rough day and one of the workers assisted him with grabbing something or helped him while he stood like it was natural and never called attention to it. My dad also had a few moments of forgetfulness and tried to pay them more than once for services already rendered. They'd stop him and remind him that they'd already been paid for something and jog his memory instead of trying to take advantage.

Just had a 10KW PV Solar System installed by Gary and his team. They showed up on time and then took the time to go over the layout of the panels with me to be sure I was all OK with everything again before the install. His team was very polite, thorough and they worked like a well oiled machine together. After completion they showed me the Solaredge control panel and how to access the data I would be interested in monitoring from the inverter itself aside from the real time Web app. We used SolarWorld panels, Solaredge inverter and Ironridge rail mounts. I did my research and also spoke with 4 other companies and I can say Gary SAVED US THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS vs. the other companies and the job was done perfectly. My neighbor whom I had spoken to in the past about solar actually grabbed Gary while he was here doing my install and is having Gary install the same system in his house, because like me he had done his research and new the value that Gary was giving him instantly. Gary also deals insulation and Hybrid hot water heaters as they are on the list as well and we will definitely be using Gary again. It is a pleasure to deal with an honest business owner who puts his customers first.

After receiving a few quotes, I decided to go with Solar Energy Specialist. They were very informative and explained things in simple terms so that I could understand. Whenever I had a question, they were available to answer it. They came out and did a home energy analysis and told me where I was wasting energy. They took the time to educate me and their pricing is great. The other two quotes I got from other companies seemed like they just wanted to slap some panels on my roof to get a quick sale.
