Soda Springs Resorts

Review: Soda Springs Resorts sold our family 5 tickets (each ticket was $30) for the "Tube Town" sledding hill attraction at the resort on February 8, 2014. It was only after our family walked over to the sledding hill that we, and all of the other families, realized that the hill was not functional. The innertubes would not move down the hill, even when pushed. All of the tubes were stuck to the hill.The sales manager and resort manager both refused to issue an exchange for later date, or a refund for our $150 in wasted tickets, or a refund or exchange for any other disappointed group of kids. In addition, they continued to sell tickets for the nonfunctional sledding hill to other arriving families. Selling tickets to "Tube Town" on February 8, when the conditions made sledding impossible, was a scam at Soda Springs Resorts, we are sad to report.Desired Settlement: We would like the Soda Springs Resort to refund our family the $150 we spent on tickets for the nonfunctional sledding hill. It would be nice if they refunded all of the other families their tickets from that day as well, and issued an apology.

Thank you for your response to my complaint. I was able to successfully dispute the charge through my credit card so I am no longer seeking a refund from the Soda Springs Winter Resort.

I urge you to keep the records on the Soda Springs Winter Resort (they operate under several different names) as the scam they tried to pull on us 2/8/14, selling tickets to an unusable attraction and refusing a refund, may be something they will try again in the future. We haven't received any letter of apology or acknowledgement from them.
