Review: Social Cycle refuses to refund our deposit of $500 for services that were never provided due to rainy weather conditions. We were not given the opportunity to cancel our reservation and no form of reimbursement has been issued.On the evening of Saturday April 25th 2015, we were scheduled to use the services that SocialCycleSD provides for about 2.50-3 hours. Weather conditions changed and it began to rain during that particular window of time. As their contract stated, they would provide their services rain or shine. However, we were not permitted to cancel our reservation which, by definition, only holds that particular time slot, we are not obligated to follow through with the reservation. We felt that it was unsafe for our party to ride through unpredictable rain.We were more than happy to pay the $150 cancellation fee but were denied the opportunity to. We were strong-armed to follow through with the reservation despite rainy conditions and when we refused, I stated that I wanted to go to small claims court in order to settle the refund as they were reluctant to.Desired Settlement: The full $500 deposit for our April 25th 2015, 630pm reservation should be refunded to the appropriate credit card used at the time of purchase. If SocialCycleSD would like to apply the $150 cancellation fee, we would be more than happy to oblige.
