This is in regards to the accident that occurred inside the Soapy Joe’s Car Wash on 1/21/19 at 3:53 PM for my Audi A4 2010 due to faulty equiment by the Car Wash, and reckless driving by an individual who did not stop to exchange insurance information.
The driver did rear-end my vehicle, and caused damaged to the bumper which needs to be entirely repainted. The impact happened while at the drying section of the wash where the Driver of the BMW 530i continued to be abnormally close to me the whole time, and where the driver finally hit my bumper due to the fact that they did NOT put the their vehiche into Neutral as required or put it on drive too soon causing the incident. The faulty railing/equipment impacted this accident as well by suddenly stopping the vehicle while it was in the drying section.
I did contact my Insurance about this case, they sent an adjuster/investigator to review the footage that the Car Wash Manager’s (Jae and Esteban) repeatedly claimed is saved in their computer file. However, after several attempts to be able to review the video, in where it clearly shows the other vehicle rear- ending my bumper with a sudden faulty equipment error that I personally saw right after the incident.
Unexpectantly, Jae the manager informed that the video is no longer available to review. Therefore, my insurance closed my claim due to the incompetence and negligence by Soapy Joe’s.
As requested, the customer has been refunded the $15 charge in February on 4/5/2019 - allow 3-5 business days to be seen on the account.
Due to the customer not having their vehicle in neutral, Soapy Joe's is not responsible for any damage that occurred while the customer is operating the vehicle.
As mentioned on the site when the day of the incident, Soapy Joe's is not liable for any damages. Contact information for the other driver was given to Mr. *** to be provided to his insurance company, if needed, Soapy Joe's has the video footage back up and can be viewed at our location. If the customer would like their insurance company to view the footage, they may contact us at [email protected]
My insurance company has already sent an investigator to your location, and attempted to look at the footage 3 different times but was advised the video is no longer available. Your manager’s have provided false information to both insurance parties, which resulted in the other driver’s denial for liability of this incident. As stated before, you clearly have faulty equipment and have incompetent attendants who did not properly operate the car wash during my accident, and is responsible for the damage. My request is for a $120 refund for my wash club membership, which is significantly lower than fully repairing the rear bumper for $500-600. This is a very fair request compared to the actual bumper damage repair costs and should be full-filled.
damage my front window last August 7th in the afternoon, after 6th days the final decision came and it was denied blaming me that my car already have chips and its not their machine who damaged it.
