Review: 9/24/13 - Purchased tour in the amount of $94.50, to take place on 10/11/13 @ 5:30pm10/10/13 - Received reminder email from company detailing tour time and place 10/11/13 - Showed up at tour meeting place at 5pm, restaurant host indicated a place to sit and wait for our tour guide, waited until 6:30pm. Tour guide never showed up. 10/12/13 - Recieved email from tour company asking me if I enjoyed my tour. Called tour to ask for full refund including $40.00 transportation cost (total $134.50), spoke to [redacted], was told "absolutely" and that a check would be mailed promptly. 10/20/13 - Called tour company and left message inquiring as to un-received check10/21/13 - Called tour company, spoke with [redacted], asked if the check for the tour and transportation cost was ever sent, was told "yes" and that the check was in the mail. Received check in the mail that day. Check was in the amount of $94.50 (did not include $40.00 transportation cost)I am seeking an additional $40.00 that I was told I would receive twice, for transportation costs associated with showing up for a service that was never provided.Desired Settlement: $40.00
