This letter is in response to the letter we received with the ID #1***Customerwas aware that as a full service garage that we charge of an hour in labor to do the oilchange plus an additional charge for the filter, fluid and taxWe use the Automotive ExpertLabor Guide to quote the time
involved in any service or repair that we performOur labor rateis $an hour, therefore the labor alone is $Customer requested a special brand of oilHisfluid request was Max Life High Mileage 5/engine oil, instead of just a regular off brand oil.Customer wasn't even charged full list price on the oil or the oil filter, therefore there was verylittle markup.We are not a garage that offers specials on oil changes and we do not buy our oil inbulkWe offer oil changes as a courtesy to our customers, but they are full aware of the laborwe charge plus fluids, filter and taxAt the completion of the job, the customer even thankedthe technician that performed the service and didn't make any complaints upon payment ofservices rendered.We have been in business for many years and have never had a complaint with the Revdex.com.We always encourage our customers to contact us directly if they are not satisfied for anyreason, but that was not the caseWe were unaware that there were any issues until wereceived the letter from the Revdex.comWe feel that our price was more than fair and cannot becompared to places that perform quick oil changes or run specials
