There is no communication on a paid transaction; business may not be legitimate utilizing false advertisement to scam consumers. I have not received a product for paid transaction.
On August ***, Instagram account '***' contacted me to notify me of a successful "raffle" win. Subsequently, a raffle winner is required to make payment for the advertised product they entered to win for purchase. This is common on many sneaker websites/businesses, this particular account contacted me in regards to winning a raffle on an agreed upon purchase.
I communicated with the business prior to payment to complete the purchase, business requested CashApp and subsequently Google Pay. There has been no communication with the retailer since August *** after payment was collected.
Payment was sent to Email: *** Product paid for: *** Air Jordan 1
Amount: $300
Google Pay Transaction ID: *** Completed: August
Hello, we have contacted you on Instagram and will be sending a full refund due to our lack of communications. We dearly apologize.
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by '***' in reference to complaint ID, and the resolution is satisfactory to me.
My overall review is '***' has shady practices. Upon filing my complaint the business reached out to me immediately on Instagram and communicated that someone was stealing from them, apologized, and said they were refunding my money immediately through Cashapp and applying a store credit to my name as well.
I provided my Cashapp and money was returned immediately, subsequently a $500 store credit was agreed upon to 'make it right' but have since been blocked on Instagram from '***' to prevent me from accessing correspondence or communicating with the business. I am cognizant that most legitimate business would not offer a credit equivalent to approximately two thirds of your original purchase at this price tag.
The Instagram from '***' promotes that it doesn't use '***' because '***' doesn't protect the business, in reality '***' is one of the few open source payment methods that protect the consumer. Upon my purchase '***' vehemently requested I use Cashapp (red flag) and then settled for Google Pay (doesn't protect).
Again, I am satisfied with getting my money back. Revdex.com demands fair trade, I am able to move forward from the unfortunate interaction with '***'. Thank you.
Very Respectfully
