I had entered a raffle for a pair of shoes prior to the high restrictions for social distancing placed in my area due to the Coronavirus. I found out a day later that I had won this raffle. I wasn't paying too much attention to it at the time because of everything going on around me. Relocating to work from home, switching classes to online as a full-time student, and then worrying about my grandma who has Pulmonary Fibrosis. I just had to much on my plate to worry about buying shoes, so when I found out I had won the raffle, I sent an email to Sneakersnstuff customer service asking to see if they could cancel my order prior to it being shipped(I had not received notification of any shipping being made at the time). I received a response pretty quickly advising me that there is no way they would cancel the order. If I want a refund I would need to ship it back out once I receive it. There was a couple of issues with this response, first off this representative didn't even care to check if there was any way possible for the order to be cancelled. Instead, this representative ignored everything I said, and everything that is currently going on in this world and advised me to ship the item back myself once received. Now why delay the inevitable? Under normal circumstances I completely understand, but during a pandemic, when my area is one that is highly affected, this company is telling me to pay return shipping, go outside of my house and drop off a package, and risk myself from getting this virus. There
was absolutely no help and no protocol on how to handle a situation like this. It makes me question how hard it was to cancel an order that wasn't even shipped, when they clearly accept returns and provide a full refund. A shipping label wasn't even created at the time I sent the email to them. I am extremely disappointed and upset at the fact that a company I have purchased many times in the past could not make any exceptions to the rules they have set in place.
I ordered some items from this company. When I received the items some were too big and one was stained so I returned the items. I was not sent a return form so I had to find one and print it out. No where on the form that it states items used or dirty so I simply just checked get refund. They sent me an email stating that they were sending the items back because the shirt had stains and the shorts smelled of sweat. I was confused because neither item smelled and nothing was wrong with the shirt I was simply returning it because it was too big. The shorts did have a stain(which is why I was returning them) but I did not cause it. I took it out the box saw it and put them back in the box to be returned. The representative keeps stating that I should have mentioned the stained on the pants but there was no where on the form that said used or worn. They are falsely stating that there were stains on the shirt and that it smelled like sweat but I took pictures of it and I took both items to the Addidas store for verification and they said neither smelled like sweat the shorts just had foot print marks or stains. How can I previously mention something is wrong with the shirt when the only thing that was wrong is that it was too big?? This return center is lying in an attempt to keep my hard earned money. I have read reviews where they have don the same thing to other customers. They have sent them dirty and used items and then when they try to return them they will not respond or will not return there money. I will send the shirt to the supervisor my self so he can smell it and see that there is not sweat smell on either item. I have been dealing with this for almost a month when there return policy states 14 days for returns.
