Snazzy’s Car Wash

I went through Snazzy’s car wash on February 14, 2020 at 3:52 PM. After went through the wash and got home I notice scratches down the side of my new 2020 ***. I went back to Snazzy’s and filled out an incident report. I was told that the manager would call me the next day. I did not receive a phone call. I then returned to Snazzy’s on Monday February 17, and arranged to meet with the manager the following day. After I met with the manager he told me the owner would call me the next day. I did not receive a phone call so I went back to Snazzy’s and was again told that the owner would call me the following day, and again no phone call. I then went back to Snazzy’s every other day trying to get the owner to call me until Wednesday February 26, when I called and threatened legal action. The owner then called me and arranged a meeting with me on February 26 to look at the damage to my vehicle. The owner offered to have his detail shop try to buff out the scratches, this offer was not acceptable to me. Before I met with the owner I had received an estimate of 555.93 from *** for the repairs to my vehicle. The owner of Snazzy’s was not willing to pay for the repairs since he offered to have his detail shop fix the damage. After I told the owner that I was extremely uncomfortable with a detail shop trying to do body work on my vehicle, he stated I’m not paying to fix your truck.
