One year ago, I had a snapPower guide light plate shortout, the sheetrock turned black, hissed and started smoking, and blow the breaker, I reached out to customer service, they responded with a email, asked me to send burned out light plate back to them. I did, they where suppose to send a replacement. I never heard from them again. Last week another GAF guide light plate started hissing, smoking and the sheetrock blackened, and popped the breaker.This is the second time within a year, there is a flaw in there guide plates. I have them installed throw out my house. If this happened when I wasn't home, my house could have caught fire.

I've been trying to contact this company since January 2020 about them replacing a product that does not work and they will not respond to any emails. I've tried reaching them through email several times as well as requesting assistance through their social media platforms with no response.

Snap Power advertisers that their guide-light product can be installed easily over any common outlet without the aid of an electrician.
This is NOT true.
I ordered guide lights from Snap Power. I followed their installation instructions. The lights never worked!
I attempted to follow up with Snap Power to figure out what was wrong. Snap Power asked for me to send some photos to them. I did that, but no solution was offered.
Snap Power’s advertising was false/inaccurate.
Tania was the Snap Power customer service rep I was working with. She was worthless. She blamed me for the issue and refused to accept a return of their product.
Tania is the worst customer service rep I have encountered. Snap Power should be ashamed. She is unhelpful and rude.
Shame on you Snap Power.
I ended up calling my electrician who verified that Snap Power’s advertising is inaccurate. The electrician fixed the issue after hours of work.
Tania should try working as an accountant... it would fit her better than customer service!
