Seems that here lately about one in four of my utility tickets are done wrong. Whether it is a mismark, completely not marked, or an unable to gain access. It's all a pain and there is no recourse. If we proceed and dig we get the fine, not them. If they don't do their part it makes no difference. Three day marking ticket, no calls no clearance, third day an unable to gain access. That was a crock because there wasn't even a gate. Placed a 3 hour notice, still no marks. Miss utility is of no help either suggesting another 3 hour notice. If the first 3 hour notice did nothing why would another 3 hour notice? This companies lack of motivation to get their job done is costing others money.
S&N Communications/Google Lies, Misleads then barnstorms in on holiday to do start Fiber Optic Charlotte, NC- Even after the back of my home was dug up and fiber optic installed (one of the first), Google was saying they had no plans to be in my area. They have my information and complaint. S&N Communications is their contractor and has had many trucks in this past week mostly marked, some unmarked. What's to stop another company from doing more construction -- the same thing that's going on now. This while a few laborers are working with many just standing around the complex -- anyone with a safety vest. Continual noise and disruption. After six weeks of utility locators sitting in the parking lot for hours at a time doing nothing (USIC), marking and remarking the same lawns, S&N decides that it can barnstorm in, with police presence, on the MLK holiday to start digging up the lawn without any confirmation of who they're doing it for--smells and we are really sick of it, to say the least. The city was to get back to me regarding the "occupation" by the utility locators and what was going on with google..no response and they came in the following Monday. S&N then calls after the fact on behalf of the city. Hello?
