The company Smoothhiring.com solicited my business via an email blast. They claimed that they would

After I paid them the money, I logged in expecting to see thousands of qualified candidates. I saw one candidate that the job board defined as not qualified for the job. After a couple day of non activity I reached out via email and didn't get a response. I then called them and was told that it takes time and I will get the desired results and if not they would run the job posting again. I also requested if they could give me the posting so I could see them. They didn't produce them.
After all was said and done I didn't get one qualified candidate and had less than 12 candidates in total. With the same job description I posted on one job board and received over 50 applicants in a couple of days.
This company clearly didn't do what they said they would and misrepresented themselves and what they actually produce and I clearly regret my decision using them to look for quality employees.
To Revdex.com,Smoothhiring is a Job Posting and Job Distribution Service along with Applicant Assessments functionality. We are a software(SAAS) platform primarily helping our customer with job Aggregation/Job Distribution to several job boards. Once the job is posted, our Software performs psychometric assessments to identify a good fit for the job, using a Psychometric Assessment, which identifies personality traits to determine personality fit based on a job type. Here is our website to understand our services: Smoothhiring.comhttps://www.smoothhiring.com/common-questions/Our Customer Posted 'Outside Sales representative' Job using our standard Package of $399.All jobs posted with us are distributed to our partner job-boards and are live for 30 days.As per the terms, we posted the job to various job boards. We also did a FREE UPGRADE to LinkedIn as a courtesy for new client(please see attachments). When we post to these job boards, we have to pay a non refundable amount in order for the job to appear on the job boards.Once a job is posted ,our software has no control on the number of applicants job posting receives. Number of Applicants received for the job posting depends on Several factors:local job market, type of skill, unemployment in that area, and so on.Since ASA Electrical Solutions is a new client, our sales manager guaranteed 7 Applicants. Our Sales Person agreed to repost/extend the job if the job didn't receive 7 Applicants. But the job posting produced 11 applicants in total with 9 completed applicants(Please see the attached).Below is the explanation why we didn't misrepresent and followed our terms and conditions. We have not dishonored any commitment in our service(Please see attached).Such complaints are damaging to our business. Customer should understand that we are a small business and dependent on this for our living. request the customer to think and understand the services well and act in a fair way before filing a complaint.1. As per the terms, We posted the job to all the job boards. We also posted to LinkedIn at no extra charge.(Please find the attached for details)2.Job Received a total of 11 Applicants with 9 completed applicants( Completed Applicants are applicants who completed the personality test, which is Assessment test conducted byour Software. it is a Psychometric test. IT IS NOT A SKILL TEST)(Please find the attached for details)3.Customer also mentions that after a few days, he didn't get any applicants.Customer must be aware that a job posting is for 30 days and it doesn't mean job attracts applicants on day one. Across all major job boards, a job is advertised for 30 days. depending on the type of the job and availability in the market, job may get 50 applicants or zero applicants on first day. our terms were 30 days of Posting , Similar to any other major Job boards.4.Customer mentioned that he posted on'OTHER JOB BOARD' Since Customer posted the same job to 'OTHER JOB BOARD' it was considered duplicate by OTHER JOB BOARD, (our package also includes the 'OTHER JOB BOARD') hence resulted in loss of some applicants. Customer posting on the OTHER JOB BOARD Was damaging and decreased the number of applicants.5.If applicants have submitted their resume to the customer and if the customer called them and they didn't respond or didn't show any interest, applicant may have changed mind or found something more attractive. unfortunately we cannot force applicants to accept a job.All Applicants received by customer may not be interested and show up for interview/offer.We have attached proof and documents of what services we performed as per the agreement. With All honest, integrity, fairness and without any greedy for money, we have done everything as per the terms and agreements. I do have more attachments but the portal doesnt let me attach more than 4.Please review this response with all fairness and let me know if you need additional information or documentation.

Complaint: 14208624
I am rejecting this response because: The solicitation that I was sent offered to expand meaning on top of what I already was doing.
I was not informed that I shouldn't have a job posted on Indeed or I would have taken it down.
Also it clearly says 50+ on their attachment in their proof that they sent over there was less than a handful of job boards and I feel that I wasn't getting the post back from those just based on doing this over the years many times.
11 total applicants you will typically get on a free service.
When you pay on the other job boards you are receiving many applications daily.
Based on past experience, I feel that they are either lying about the posts or the collection and distribution of applicants is seriously flawed.
