Smoke Shop Etc

I was sold a ‘Smok’ vaporizer from this business. I had liquid leakage from this product externally and when I smoked the vape, liquid was going in to my mouth. According to the FDA warning, poison control must be contacted if this liquid is swallowed. I went in to this business within 24 hours of purchasing this product and the manager told me that it was a “user error”. I then started my research and came across a ‘QR’ verification reader option to verify this product is indeed a ‘Smok’. Turns out that I was sold a counterfeit ‘Smok’. I tried to explain this to the manager to no avail. I knew at that point I wasn’t going to get my money back. I was hoping this product would be taken off the shelves so no other customers had this experience, or have a vetting process to make sure they are indeed ‘Smok’. I also have the proof that shows this is a counterfeit product.
I went in to a “better” vape shop in town. (The reviews are much higher than the ones at Smoke Shop Etc.) When I told them where I bought the vape, they told me that this was the 4th ‘Smok’ brought in with the same problem I had. And it was not a coincidence that those other people also bought their product from Smoke a Shop Etc. My belief is that they know they are selling counterfeit products which is why they went so high on the defensive.
