The 1st phone call I received from Ms [redacted] was todayThere were no prior messages left for meMs [redacted] was already sent a letter advising the account was paid in full to the address she suppliedThis letter has not been returned to usShe does have her bank/credit card statement showing the payment to usAdditionally, the account was paid on 2/26/and notice was sent to the credit bureau to which we report on 3/2/Ms [redacted] wasn't getting the answer she wanted and requested my supervisorI have no supervisorShe continued to call back and harass my receptionist and left several harassing messages on my voice mail as wellAnother paid in full letter was generated today to the address supplied by Ms [redacted] , which she verified with me that it was correct

We sent a series of letters to Ms [redacted] which we received no responseWe called the number she gave our client as her contact number and left messages there, wit no responseIt was a businessMs [redacted] was demanding that we remove the interest that had accrued on the account and became angry when we wouldn'tOur staff is professional, yet firmShe can cal the office and speak directly to me to resolve the issue if she would like

Attached is a copy of the original demand letter sent on 1/6/2nd attachment is a copy of the notice of delivery from the Post Office3rd is a copy of the original check and 4th is a copy of the "web payment" that Ms [redacted] made on our website which was also returned for non sufficient funds (NSF)We will not accept just the check amount plus $as payment in fullShe may call the office and talk directly with me and see if we can work out a settlement on the accountHIPPA laws relate to Medical Bills, not bad checks

This is for an insurance policy that cancelled in August for non payment of premiumsIt has not been paid to usI have reached out to my client and they do not show it as paid eitherWe asked her for proof of payment, but she said she would just dispute it insteadWe have not received a dispute as of todayUpon receipt of proof of payment, we can resolve the matter immediately

Attached is the itemized statement from my client of the amount owedAt no time did Mr [redacted] ask us to validate the debtThe demand letter was sent to Mr [redacted] @ [redacted] The letter was not returned to usItems placed in United States mail are presumed to arrived at their destination in daysIf it is Mr***'s position that the letter was not received, he will need to provide sufficient proof

I am rejecting this response because:I was never given professional courtesy throughout the whole phone call from the first person all the way to the third women who stated, she owned the companyAs even in the response she gave above she gave no contact info to respond to her Such an agency should have their phone calls monitored, this would have been a great solution to their terrible service towards peopleI'm sure if this was done it would show I was never rude or angry with this collection agency I was just questioning them I realize they are a Collection agency but at the same time they need to treat customers with dignity and respectI have also contacted the FDCPA regarding this company's professionalism and collection practicesAnd for the matter of them stating I was angry, I was never angry I just requested they do not speak to me in such an absurd matter and that I was not informed of the interestI seen the company on my credit history, I then searched the internet for their information to get in contact with them about the collection and offered to pay the amount stated on my credit history at the timeShe then stated I owed more then what was state on my historyI stated well I was informed otherwise of the amount and I don't feel I should be charged an amount more then what was stated on the reportShe told me I had no choice in paying it and she was the only above others to handle this matter, even about the terrible service

I am rejecting this response because: Not once have a received a letter from this company nor have I ever spoken to a representative from this companyMy first contact with them was today at work from a very rude [redacted] who tried to verbally intimidate me and bully my HR departmentMy HR department has been instructed to not take his call or anyone else's from this company or anything related to this issue as it is considered corporate harassmentThese bully tactics fall in line with every [redacted] review on this company and considering there have been registered complaints with the Revdex.com, I would hope something more might be done to stop these individuals from bullying and intimidating people

The complainant already accepted our responsehe has called the office and the matter has been resolved

We received the account from our client for collections on 2/27/We did not purchase this debtThat same day, the 1st demand letter was generated followed by the 2nd demand on 3/26/and the 3rd and final on 6/11/None of these letters were returned to us.On 3/8/& 3/26/a phone call
was made and messages were left with no return phone callThe account was deemed "non responsive" and set asideIt was reported to the credit bureau to which we report on 6/12/12.On 4/28/15, Ms*** called into our officeShe was advised of the steps taken to contact her, with no responseShe was also advised that in absence of a contract stating a specific amount, the legal maximum interest rate was 8%Her balance reflects interest from the date of last charge, which is 11/19/Interest accrues daily. As of today, her principle balance is $66.24, interest of $for a total due of $91.83. This was not reported to her credit in error, therefore it cannot be removed

In reviewing my response, the dates are indeed incorrect3/was the date she called in and the bankruptcy information was received by our bankruptcy department on 3/The bankruptcy information wasn't even entered into our system until mid April, which gives them time to review the information receivedAs in this case, the debt was post petition and not includedOur upload had indeed been sent prior to receipt.The account is listed as disputed and will be updated with the credit bureaus to reflect that status.No personal information has been disclosedHowever, evidence to substantiate my business's position has beenAny doc's or attachments are reviewed by the Revdex.com only and not open to the publicAdditionally, the Revdex.com redacts personal information, including names. Ms*** can call the office and speak with Ms*** to resolve the issue

I am rejecting this response because: This does not justify the HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE that was provided VERY UNPROFESSIONALDeleting messages as you respond ,but I never once got a call.You would think if a person leaves "several Harassing messages" that that person would NOT DELETE them and use that as PROOF/EVIDENCE Unless MS*** signs her own checks that she receives on her payday ,and her name is on them , then that would mean there is no one above herThis WILL NOT RESOLVE MY ISSUE/CONCERN until what I have asked is givenI know ms *** is probably is used to providing horrible experiences based on the many horrible reviews that she has stating her NAME but I will not Tolerate NOR ACCEPT this or LET IT GOBack to my original complaint that IS WHAT I'M SEEKING nothing less nothing more

I am rejecting this response because: I never asked for a breakdown of your estimated costsI wanted the same letter they "assumed" arrived to me that I have never receivedI am asking if it is the businesses standard policy to send this mail by certified delivery or standard mailI want proof from this company that they know this letter arrivedI know that they will find it never didNor did I receive this notice that they sent via Revdex.com. If they sent it via certified mail there would be a chance but if they did this would not be an issue I am sure, because I would have received it It is required that the debt collection be sent to me and I am giving my statement that it has never reached my mail boxAssumed is a big word for this companyIf it is "assumed" that the letter will reach me in days with standard mail, assumed is not a guaranteeAnd when I spoke with the companies; both the insurance company and the collections company it seems very concerning that the insurance company itself can't determine the debt, but this company canAlso, I have found that the total that is owed has changed timesOne on the credit report that I viewed was a total of $62.00, and with the insurance company I got one total of $then that my policy was reinstated in May of and the cost was waived, and with the collection agency now saying it was a total due of $What is upsetting is the inconsistency and the offensive stance taken toward me by this collection agency*** *** with the collection agency was against sending me the letter from the beginning of the phone call; "why would I send you a letter again if it never arrived in the first place?" and suchI spoke later to a supervisor who was ok with sending me the letter againAnd I spoke with the insurance company to send me proof of the policy(s), because as I stated, they reinstated my policy following this "so called cancellation" in May 2014, and waived the cost

Universal Recovery Corporation did not return
my call from the message I left for *** *** on 8/7. I did not receive the document that URC supposedly mailed to me on 8/11. This is why I reached out to them on 8/requesting it again. If they sent you the full email communication between us that day, you will see that they were not helpful at all. I called *** *** that same day (after the frustrating email exchange with URC), and was finally able to get the documents and my questions answered. I paid the balance due right after that. Universal Recovery Corporation's customer service is horrible

On 10/13/15, we received accounts from our client on *** *** *** payroll checks that had been returned dishonored by the bank for non sufficient fundsOn that day, we sent out a demand letter, certified mail, *** per California Civil Code Section Per the attached,
the letters were returned to us unclaimedThe Civil Code requires us to mail the demand letter certified mail and it is effective upon mailingMr*** was notified by his bank that these checks did not clear and he was notified by our client as wellIn addition, balancing his payroll account would have shown these checks did not clear. On 11/13/2015, another letter was generated via regular mailhe did not respond to those either and they were not returned to us by the Post Office. Copies of the returned checks and the status directly from *** verifiying the letters were sent, certified mail, was returned to us

I am rejecting this response because: It is invalid and dishonestI submitted proof of my BK to *** as advised on 3/27/17(attached), and confirmed same day that it was receivedI placed a call to Universal Recovery on 4/19/to check on the status as my credit report had not yet changedAfter searching through what I assume was my file, the representative confirmed she had received my BK proof, which was submitted on 3/27/17, but requested I allow up to days for the record to be updated through the credit reporting agency as their company reports once a monthShe stated they had updated my file with a BK status on 3/30/17, and she asked that I wait until 4/30/to see a change reflected on my credit reportIn order to give it extra time, I waited until today, 5/19/17, and after seeing no change on my credit report, I called backIt was during this call today that Ms*** stated they had not even sent my file update yet and implied I was lying about being told there was a day turnaround time. If Ms***'s statement above is truthful, then my file would have been updated with the credit report update they claim to have sent just before 4/30/17, and would therefore already have been resolvedFurthermore, Ms*** has violated my privacy per the Revdex.com terms of agreement and has included personal details about myself and my credit situation publicly in her response to my review on Revdex.comThis is unacceptable and besides being a direct and purposeful violation, is indicative of her poor business ethics in the management of this businessWhich is ultimately the source of my distress and concern with the operations of this business, which has my personal information and controls an aspect of my credit. This appears to be a consistent concern with this business based on online review through Revdex.com, Yelp, YellowPages.com, and Google reviews and would appear to warrant a formal investigation into the operation and dealings of this business
