SMJ Towing

at around approximately 1:31 am on September 20th A-SMJ towing of Harvey Illinois towed my 2017 *** wrx out of my girlfriends legally owned spot at her condo . The contract states a visitors pass must be in place at all times which we fully understood and obliged by at all times . Immediately I knew I was wrongfully towed because I've parked there for 3 weeks in a row without a problem (I'm on leave I don't live in Illinois anymore due to military ) so I call my buddy who's a tow truck driver and comes with all the laws to the ICC and he starts pin pointing everything wrong with the company . The ICC states that their towing warning signs must have letters 3 inches in length when there's come out to 2 1/2 . Icc will issue a fine to them . It doesn't end there . There sign states that they have to release a vehicle until 6am , 5:45 am rolls around and they aren't there to release my vehicle (illegal) so around 9 am I head down there with all my evidence of their ICC violations and the fact that they wrongfully towed me . Well ultimately after a fuss I pay to get my car back and figure I'll settle this with the icc and they will reimburse me . Let me state this is the point where I stopped giving a *** about the tow fee . I quickly realized they towed the car without a flat bed truck . The morning I called and asked if this was towed with a flat bed and they said yes it was , I showed up at the yard and the guy says this wasn't towed with a flat bed and then I called them later to tell them that the civil lawsuit will be filed if they don't take care of this the guy again reassures me it was towed on a flat bad , once again I called him out and told him we have video evidence that you dragged my car out of the spot while it was in gear with out a flat bed ( any AWD owner knows this can cause severe damage to the diff and the synchro ) well when I told him that he starts back tracking saying maybe it was pulled that way but it was done right so I already caught them in a lie . Now let's backtrack to the yard , while there I document that my parking pass is in the window of the vehicle and the damages the committed . Scratches to the bumper lip , scratches to oil pan cover , dent in passenger door and scratches on door . My main concern is that my diff can start giving me problems 500 miles down the road now because they towed this vehicle the wrong way . These guys are scam artist and I will 100% be suing for the wrongful tow and the fact that my vehicle was towed when no one called and they illegally patrolled the lot.
