Review: On Monday August 8, 2014 I made full payment of $1000.00 by check to Mr. Kent S[redacted]/Smiths Landscaping for tree removal work on my property. The work consisted of the total removal of one gum tree, removing the top of one gum tree, and removal of a large tree branch that had already fallen on my property. Additionally, the job included taking down and reinstalling two sections of a three rail fence to facilitate removal of the trees from my property. At the time payment was made on August 8, Mr. Smith said all work would be completed in one day. A contract was written by Mr. Smith but he neglected to provide me with a copy. On Tuesday (08/05/2014) Mr. Smith and crew showed up at about 2pm, removed the fence and partially cut down one tree. At about 4pm he departed and left a pile of tree branches and a cut up tree sprawling in my front and back yard. He told me that someone would pick up the branches and sprawling cut up tree the next day. This was not done. Additionally, he told me he would return the next day to reinstall the fence and remove the tree top with a tree bucket machine. This also was not done. I tried to contact Mr. Smith by phone, email, and certified mail but to no avail. No further work was completed by Mr. Smith since leaving my property on Tuesday August 5, 2014. On Thursday (08/14/2014) I paid other contractors to complete the work left by Mr. Smith. The following supporting documents are available but can not be uploaded: 1. copy of payment check cashed by Mr. Smith on 08/04/2014; 2. copy of email sent to Mr. Smith' personal and business email; 3. copy of certified letter; 4. copy of Mr. Smith's Landscaping business card; 5. Pictures of the condition in witch Mr. Smith left my property; 6. copy of paid receipt to remove the branches and cut up tree sprawling; and 7. copy of paid receipt to remove one gum tree and reinstall the fence.Desired Settlement: Refund as follows:1.Removal of branches and cut up tree sprawling - $175.002.Removal of one gum tree top and reinstallation of fence - $550,00Total refund - $725.00
