I got a bill through my Power company and the amount was a whopper of $204.83. Smartenergy - supplier wants $132.46 by January 10 and I cannot afford it, as I am a disabled senior on a fixed income of Social Security. I paid $204.83 through my Power company as I do not want my power shut off! Thanks, Smartenergy for preying on a Disabled Senior citizen on a fixed income. I want a refund!

Smartenergy Holdings is a completely awful company. They doubled my rate without any sort of notification. I never got an email, a letter, or a phone call. I went from $150 last january to $320 this january. I asked them to perhaps refund some of that amount, and they refused. I will tell everyone I know and write a bad review on every website I can because of this awful awful service and company. Shame on them!

Review: I received some mail from this company, stating there was a $50 cash back bonus, I could save 10% on my electricity and could enter sweepstakes for free electricity for a year, with no further information but to call. This is quite obviously a scam. I requested removal of my name from junk mail and mass marketing mailing lists. Thats why Im filing this complaint.Desired Settlement: Remove my name from all lists and stop sending me marketing mail, as I requested officially not to receive junk and mass marketing mail.
