My name is ***, jr. I am the legal guardian for my sister ***. This pharmacy has continued to send statements of account balances for the amount of $7.99 for an unknown service. I have made numerous requests via phone and e-mail asking for an explanation of what service was provided and what Doctor (if any) submitted said order. After never getting any follow-up information I have marked subsequent bills without opening the letter to be returned to sender refused. The letters continue to come and are a nuisance and a tremendous waste of postage. They have spent far more in postage than the listed $7.99. If this is a legitimate business they should comply with my requests for info or quit wasting valuable time and money.

Patient consented 3 days before for a prescription that had a co-pay of $7.99. After getting consent to ship the medication patient was sent medication and then called back to say they did not want the medication. Even though patient consented to having medication shipped we offered a return label to send medication back at no cost to patient. Patient’s caregiver refused per shipping carrier and medication was never returned. Due to patient not returning medication we have tried collecting payment for the past 2 years and have called over 40 times. Through various routes of communication the caregiver refuses to let us talk to patient and has either hung up on us or given a later call back time to which the phone is never answered. Our company has tried to resolve this situation and been very understanding offering to return the medication at our expense. Patient’s caregiver refuses to cooperate and now is irritated because we are thorough in our collections procedures per insurance/company policies. Thank you for your time and effort in trying to resolve this matter as we aim to serve and treat our patient’s with the best care available.

I am rejecting this response because: No medication was received. After getting first invoice for payment I asked the pharmacy for info on what the bill was for. They would not provide that info. No mention of medication was made. I (caregiver) asked for info and they never provided any. Why would we pay for something that you cannot provided info on. Your calls listed call back numbers and people that never responded. The original question from me was what facility requested this order number. The invoice does not describe what the charge was for.
