I have a big farm, barn, garage and 2 bedroom house. Josh, Victor and Jacob arrived on time, and gave me a heads up when we reached the estimate of cost. I said, carry on. They even got the porty potty up on the truck and the riding lawn mower. The workers were amazing in Ontario . Moving to NS required a storage service, and on the requested move into the new home, the three men that came were as good as the first three. This time Josh, Jacob and Chris came and got everything off loaded. They even offered to take things to the new container, if it had arrived on time. I was so impressed because you often hear of a lot of negative reviews, and I was nervous. I am thrilled with Jeff and his team and even bragged to my real estate agent as to how good they were. I would certainly recommend them over any others that I had contacted for this move.

Excellent service. Moving team lead by Chris and Isaac were highly professional, courteous and accommodating. The price quoted was spot on based on the items I told their sales manager Jeff, I was moving. Received all my items within the time span they promised which was within 7 days. They were the only company that could promised this quick of turnover from Ontaria. I highly recommend.

I contacted several companies, this was the only one that charged by volume, not weight. Jeff and Dean were wonderful to deal with. My first big move and I had lost of concerns from reading what could happen in a move. I'm so glad I went with these guys. Friendly but professional. I felt I was someone in the family they were moving. They were right on time picking up and my items were treated with great care. A smaller tuck, just for my items, so the delivery will not be weeks like some of the other companies I talked to. As it turned out, I was able to sell some of my larger items, the cost of moving was actually less! How often can you say that! I'm confident that the drop off will be handled the same way. So if you are moving to, or from the east coast to Ontario, go local, give these guys a try!

When I called Jeff, the owner, I asked him for a fair evaluation of our move from Toronto to Quispamsis, NB He stated a $10,000 estimate for the move. We had a 1,375 square foot home in Toronto. We sold our pool table, figuring it was too much to move. The move ended up costing us $21,000! Of course, Jeff wanted his money before he unloaded the truck so we felt had no choice.
He also stated that he had full insurance for any item that we moved. Our 65' 4D TV arrived damaged and unusable. As it was a 2017 model I asked for $600 in compensation towards replacing the item. Jeff hid under every excuse not to refund us and what's more - he stated it wasn't covered by insurance!
All this man cares about is his pocket book. I hope karma does exist becasue there is nothing I can do about this rip-off artist. Run!

Recently moved from Ontario to NB and unfortunately hired Smart Movers Atlantic. Spent $21,000 on this move and now have to purchase another television. Movers at Ontario said no worries about boxing the TV, we'll just wrap it up in blankets and insert it in between two mattresses - we do it all the time. Big mistake as our $2,500 TV we bought four years ago was dropped or crushed in the bottom right corner which affected the whole TV. Although not visible without turning the TV on as you see in the photos, it now no longer turns on and Smart Movers Atlantic tells us it is our fault, or that we broke it ourselves. They will not take any responsibly at all. We also had two chandeliers that broke even though these were boxed. Do the smart thing and don't use Smart Movers Atlantic for your move.

We asked Atlantic Smart Movers to move us from Toronto to Quispamsis. The total move cost us over $21,000. Everything did arrive even though it arrived 5 days apart because the first truck wasn't big enough. However, our 4D TV arrived cracked. Jeff, the owner, gave us every possible excuse to avoid any compensation for our broken tv. He hid behind the fact that we didn't hire him to pack us - even though his people wrapped the tv in a blanket and placed it inbetween two mattresses assuring my husband it would be fine. He also told me that during both deliveries his men didn't see a broken tv - insinuating that I broken it afterwards - but you can't see the cracks until you turn the tv on. I asked for $600 in compensation considering it was a 2017 Samsung model. I would not use this company ever again. After paying $21,000 for a move I would expect that our tv would arrive in working condition.

THESE GUYS ARE SCAM ARTISTS! They overcharge, lie, deceive, and the owner “Jeff” is an arrogant and ignorant liar. He will swear, call names, talk over you, and put you down if you even attempt to dispute being overcharged, or damages.

My brother and I hired this company to move the contents from a 1-bedroom apartment that was being held in a storage unit from Elmsdale Nova Scotia, to Orillia Ontario. The company had originally quoted us $1500, however, upon pickup they charged his credit card $4694.09. According to their initial paperwork, payment was to be processed at delivery, so to see this charge within an hour of pick up and no documentation to say that the load was received was nerve racking to say the least.

The items were picked up on October 24th however, none of the items were tagged, the manifest was not provided, and no paperwork was provided to say that the load was even received. We tried to contact the business multiple times at multiple phone numbers over the next few days with absolutely no response. The delivery did end up showing up on the 27th, at which time the manifest and invoice was provided. When we tried asking the movers whom we needed to speak with to find resolution for the invoicing issue, the employees unloading the truck simply laughed and said, "good luck".

According to their invoice, the total cubic footage of the load was 631.86 cubic feet at at $6.46 per cubic foot. This is not even a remotely accurate estimate of the load in question. We measured the cubic feet of the load item by item, which worked out to 297.7 cubic feet. The truck the items were delivered in was on 780 cubic feet, and the load did not even fill half of the trailer. We tried following up with them via email, and they would not respond. We tried calling them and when we finally got them on the phone, Jeff (the owner) simply yelled, threatened, called us names, used profanity, and hung up the phone. They charged us WELL above the accurate amount, and certainly well above the quoted amount. Again, we were quoted $1500, and even if this estimate was not in line with their price per cubic feet, we measured each and every item that was delivered and it was not even close to the proposed cubic footage. They have absolutely robbed us blind, deceived us, unlawfully charged us an obscene amount of money, and are not even willing to discuss anything or rectifying the issues.

very professional movers . Hired this company to Help move my family from Windsor Ontario to Fredericton , New Brunswick . This moving company has the most accommodating staff I have ever witnessed . Being able to perform in the Southern Ontario summer heat was and is impressive ( Glad to be in the Maritimes ) Thank you Smart Movers for the service and the great price .

I hire Smart Movers to move my family and I just last week from Moncton to Toronto Ontario . I was very happy with their service . The moving team was very professional taking their time to properly wrap and cover my furniture . The delivery at my new home in North York went very smooth .
