Lack of response addressing our broken Smart Energy system.We have had our Smart Energy system since October 2007 when our house was built. It works very well, helping to optimize the energy usage of our house and reduce utility bills. But the system has been broken for over 3 weeks now. We have called and left messages with [redacted] (owner). He returned one phone call to my husband [redacted] saying that he would try to get someone out the next week. My husband called back to say that it looked like the system was working again. But then my husband called again to say that it was still broken. I also called more than one week ago to ask what is going on. No return call. Nobody ever answers the office number, so I think the company is not really a "business".Desired SettlementReplace our broken unit.Business Response I called and talked to a Revdex.com agent and explained the situation. I must have missunderstood the instructions as to the response requirement. We had a very nice conversation and the agent understood the issue and missunderstanding with the customer. I will call in again after I submit this write up. I explained to the Revdex.com agent that we have been in contact with the husband and I have phone and emaill records to show this. The main concern in addressing the possible problem with the system is what will it cost and to keep that as low as possible. If I have to make multiple trips to the home we would have to charge

Satisfied & happy customer. Found "SMART ENERGY SOLUTIONS" at a home improvement show. This is a very professional and honest company for your windows/energy solutions. Michael, who did the estimate is very honest & straight forward, and never tried to over sell anything, only what is really needed. Demetri (sp?) came and re-measured to make sure of the exact window size & fit - he's very professional! Replaced the garden window in the kitchen, and the product & workmanship are excellent. Their very qualified installers are professionals that know what they are doing (unlike other window vendors). Also, the screen door was replaced along with the hardware on the patio door - but other window vendors who came to do estimates, and obviously was only after the money, tried to over sell at their inflated prices. Said the entire old patio door needed to be taken out and replaced, when nothing else is wrong with the door, but the torn screen & lock. Replaced a glass panel that was failing on another window, and was also told by other vendors that the entire window needed to be removed & replaced - not true! From beginning, to job completion you will be happy & "relieved" you are dealing with this company = no gimmicks. Starting with the honest estimate, to re-measurement for accurate size, you will also have excellent customer service from Julie. She will let you know the scheduling, etc. and will do a customer service follow up when the job is finished. A very efficient, honest, professional window company - "SMART ENERGY SOLUTIONS" is HIGHLY recommended - to everyone needing windows.
