Harassing phone caller, [redacted] Called and when asked to remove phone number she started in on their service I interrupted and said that my phone number was on the do not call list She then asked for a reference number and when I would not provide she informed me that I was not on the do not call list and she would explain to me how it all worked She would yelled and I hung up I called the number back as caller id showed her name, needed to determine company and she answered as Smart Energy I told her that I did not appreciate her telling me what I was or was not and ended up hanging up again as she started in again with the yelling and not allowing a conversation She then called me back at which time I told her not to call again or I would report them within minI received another call from a number identified by caller ID as Smart Energy When complaining to Smart Energy is when I learned they are not the company making these calls but identifying themselves as Smart Energy Smart Energy Advocates website only lists above # and wasn't much help except to request removal from their call list I sent email but who knows where or by whom it will be read I have been overwhelmed by Solar company solicitation calls I don't want any of them Most are congenial when I ask them to remove my phone number Just not this company

Review: I receive multiples calls a day from a number that appears on my caller id as "SEC". My kids think that the call is from the Securities Exchange Commission and answer the call. The call is from a telemarketer. Our phone number is on the do not call list. I've asked this company to remove me from their list with no success.Desired Settlement: I would like to have the firm punished for violation of the "do not call" list. If that is not possible / feasible, I would at least like to bring this to your attention so that others might not be tormented with the persistent calls from this company.

Review: I am on the Federal Do Not Call list. It is a violation of Federal Law to solicit me by telephone. Smart Energy Advocates called my by phone to solicit solar energy products on 25 April 2014. This is a violation of Federal Law.Desired Settlement: 1. Ensure that I am never contacted again by SEA2. Formal apology by US Mail accordingly.
