Bad product and customer care.
Truck country knowingly place me.in 2 lemons. The first one had to be started with a screw driver and ran alright for the first few days. Then it was all down hill from there. The second car didnt even make it an hour before locking up and not moving. They knowing sell bad cars and trucks. The Jaguar on the lot over heats. The VW on the lot doesnt run. The tahoe knocks and is about to throw a rod. And the sad part. *** told me and my wife about the cars and would joke about bot having anything that would run off the lot. I understand as is. But if they know its bad when they place you in it...they should be held responsible.
Return of deposit. And better customer care.
The customer came to our dealership with only $300 down. There are only certain vehicles we can put customers into with such little money down. We sent our mechanic out to the customer's address multiple times to attempt to repair the vehicle. It is our belief that the customer didn't take proper care of the vehicle during the time she had it, resulting in the issues the car had. The customer signed the "as is" papers acknowledging the issues the vehicle had before she purchesed. All deposits are non refundable.
When I got our used car through Truck Country/Auto Rebuilders, we were told they would fix anything wrong with it. They have refused to do so.
On August 10, 2019, I agreed to purchase a 2003 Toyota Solara from Truck Country/ Auto Rebuilders. I was told by the mechanic for Truck Country, that if there was anything wrong with it, they would fix it. On August 12, 2019, my wife and I went to the Truck Country office to do the paperwork. Almost immediately, we began having problems. First, the transmission began leaking. Then we found a hole in the washer fluid reservoir. And then the rack and pinion went bad. Now the tie rod has gone bad. I asked if they could put us in a different car. They are refusing to do anything to fulfill their promise of fixing the major issues the car has/had when we got it from them.
I would normally ask that the repairs be made

I do not accept anything Truck Country says as truthful. This business is predatory and dishonest. They now have the car back, as I refuse to put money into something unsafe, and in very poor condition. This matter has been reported to the Tennessee State Attorney General's office, and the Federal Trade Commission. Truck Country's failure to disclose that the vehicle had been in an accident is illegal. Once there is a finding of fact, I will be suing Truck Country.
Very dishonest and untrustworthy. Tried to sell a vehicle that was "perfect, flawless, no issues aside from needing the suspension fixed which they were doing prior to selling it. The price was $7654.00. Payton said he couldn't get the work done in time so he'd just give $1500 for the repairs, when asked what exactly needed to be done, he went from saying the suspension in the beginning of their conversation to "just struts"... She was being responsible & asking questions & he basically scolded her and told her he had other people involved if she was just going to keep asking questions about the vehicle she was purchasing. She decided something was up and decided not to do business with him & purchased a Subaru instead. Now the work is done to the vehicle & it's listed as $12500 & the entire suspension setup has been redone! I mean, you can easily put two and two together here. . So glad we decided not to purchase from this dishonest person.
