I contacted smart choice on May 24/2019 to inquire about my balance owed. I received a response from *** stating that I had 7 payments of $187.18 left with a total of $1111.33 balance left. My 7 payments left of $187.18 would come up to $1310.26 which is more that the $1111.33 balance. But giving the interest and everything I have let it go.
I contacted them again today as my last payment of $187.18 or less would be in December and possible look at making a payment to close my account with them.
I received a response from *** to which now I have a balance of 287.02 and 3 payments left.
How can that be.
I cant get no straight answers from them at all
On dec 18 we made our last payment. On Dec 21 they withdrew $149.75 without reason or permission, putting us into NSF. When called to have it resolved I was given the runaround for 7 hours assuring me the NSF was sent by email transfer (it wasn't). *** admitted to me that instead of cancelling us, they set up a new payment agreement we didn't sign. And the amount is way more than we were paying in the first place. And when I told them it was excalating unnecessarily I was told by the manager *** that "$48.00 isn't a big deal". No apologies and no restitution.

On December 21st we attempted to take 149.75 from the account in question. This was a human error on our part and we apologize for this. We became aware of the issue on December 22nd and reimbursed the customer for the NSF fee incurred at our first available opportunity on December 23rd by email money transfer.

I was reimbursed several days after the fact, with no apology and after being treated very badly by ***, who basically told me what they did and what they are doing to people is no big deal.
