Thank you for contacting us in the above referenced matter. We pride ourselves on our quality products and quality service The customer who wrote this complaint called and ordered orange creamsicle cupcakes. She was shown the cupcakes in the box and leftShe returned
shortly and the cupcakes looked like box was severely tipped or dropped The customer accused us of putting them in the box this way We offered to re-frost the cupcakes and took them to the kitchen While the bakers were re-frosting, the customer changed her mind and wanted new cupcakes and some new flavors We accommodated her request She came back later that day and said she wanted her money back because they did not taste good She wanted a refund and I advised we replaced them once and will not be replacing them again She became upset and said she would give us bad reviews, and go to the health department, etc… if I did not give her a refundWe stood firm and she hung up before I could make her a counter offer I called this customer back and left a voice mail stating we would refund the amount to a bona fide charitable organization of her choice We have not heard back from her on our offer Smallcakes A Cupcakery & Creamery

I am rejecting this response because:  This business has completely fabricated their entire response.  I will not even begin to acknowledge what they have stated because it is all a complete fabrication of what really happened.  I am seriously astonished at the ability of people to compromise all their integrity over six cupcakes.  Given the detail of the lies it would seem that lying is second nature to this business owner, who by the way, was never there and never met me, but seems to have an exact accounting of the events.  I am disgusted.  The owner is doing his daughter an injustice by teaching her that is is okay to lie and comprise ones reputation and integrity over cupcakes...  I am repulsed by what people teach their children these days, and their cupcakes.  This business has been lying to me since that day and it is one of the oddest things I have ever encountered.
