[redacted] [redacted] [redacted] Please accept this notice as Slomin’s response to the complaint of consumer [redacted] ***Slomin’s does apologize for any inconvenience *** [redacted] feels we have caused, but we feel that that this complaint is a misrepresentation of our company Slomin’s has been taking care of homeowners since As a business that has been around for many years we always try to find new and innovative ways to represent the company We take our responsibility to our customers very seriously and endeavor to achieve superior customer relationsIn some malls in the New York and New Jersey area, Slomin’s has kiosk set up with sales consultants who’s intent are to provide as much information as possible to prospective customers who show an interest in our advertised offer and to hopefully them There are no questionnaire’s involved in this process Prospective customers that choose to sign with our mall sales representative are not required to provide their social security number because it is a public venue However if they do sign with our mall sales representative a copy of the agreement is emailed to the customer and upon paperwork being received in our main office, as a utility Slomin’s [redacted] is required to run a credit check and is able to obtain if correct name and address is given [redacted] ***, as with any new client by law has three business days to cancel a new contract with Slomin’s When [redacted] met with our consultant [redacted] , Slomin’s [redacted] ***` also happened to be at this particular mall kiosk [redacted] indeed mentioned she wanted to check what her current company Valley Oil would be able to offer her Slomin’s [redacted] ***` agreed to give [redacted] thirty days instead of the three days required to cancel the agreement Although [redacted] did not notify us of her intention to stay with her current oil company so that we can cancel her account, Slomin’s does acknowledge our error in releasing a delivery to [redacted] ***’s home in eighteen days when we agreed to hold the delivery for thirty days After making the disputed delivery to [redacted] ’s home on 122014, Slomin’s did make an agreement to adjust the delivery to match the price of $she received with her current company to settle her complaint In an attempt to try and retain her services, Slomin’s offered to bring our previous offer to her of $to $but [redacted] declinedSlomin’s has always cooperated with The Revdex.com in resolving matters that come to your attention, and we are open to your suggestion in this matter However, Slomin’s does not believe that it has conducted itself in any manner that would warrant intervention As already advised to [redacted] upon receipt of her payment in the amount of $596.53, Slomin’s will remove all remaining charges from her accountIf you should have any questions, please contact me at ###-###-####

March *, The Revdex.com [redacted] *** Complaint ID: [redacted] Please accept this notice as Slomin’s response to the complaint of consumer [redacted] [redacted] signed with Slomin’s for automatic oil delivery and our Econo Pak Service Plan on Slomin’s made the first delivery to [redacted] ’s home on A payment was received for $on for the Econo Pak Service Plan In good faith as a new customer, Slomin’s made our second automatic delivery as scheduled on before we received payment for the delivery The first payment Slomin’s received towards [redacted] oil delivery was on for $ Forty six days after the 12/ [redacted] oil delivery, Slomin’s received a second payment of $on The remaining balance of $for the oil delivery was made on which was sixty six days later On 22015, Slomin’s sent [redacted] a delivery hold notice because the delivery made on remained unpaid for forty six days [redacted] contacted our office the morning of because he was unhappy about the hold on his oil deliveries As stated in [redacted] fixed heating oil pricing agreement “Slomin’s shall be permitted to suspend oil deliveries without notice if customer is in arrears with regard to any monies owed by customer to Slomin’s” No payment was made at that time Late evening on there were two calls placed to our office by the [redacted] ’s between 11:17pm and 11:pm The [redacted] ’s had no heat in their home and it was presumed that they may have ran out of oil Due to the age of the balance which was now at fifty seven days, payment was required before a delivery could be released Shortly before midnight the [redacted] ’s made a payment for their full balance of $Slomin’s arranged for an emergency service visit to the [redacted] ’s home for our technician to drop ten gallons of oil to restart their boiler Slomin’s does not perform evening deliveries and the soonest a full delivery could have been made was the following day Slomin’s does offer a monthly budget payment plan which starts in June and ends in May the succeeding year Our expectation is to try and make monthly payment as affordable as possible by starting our budgets during the summer when oil isn’t as much in need so when the heating season starts they will already be ahead Establishing a budget plan during the heating season is possible but monthly payment can be much higher This is because there are a shorter number of months to calculate payments to cover their expected oil consumption during the winterSlomin’s has always cooperated with The Revdex.com in resolving matters that come to your attention, and we are open to your suggestion in this matter However, Slomin’s does not believe that it has conducted itself in any manner that would warrant intervention We apologize for any inconvenience [redacted] feels we may have caused him and his family The last thing Slomin’s wants to do is hold a customer’s delivery especially during the winter months when the need for oil is critical Unfortunately his account was in a past due state and there is no compensation that Slomin’s can offer in this matter If the [redacted] ’s would like information about starting a budget in June, Slomin’s would be happy to have a representative contact them to discuss at that time If you should have any questions, please contact us at ###-###-####Sincerely, [redacted] Slomin’s Inc

February **, The Revdex.com [redacted] *** Complaint ID: [redacted] Please accept this notice as Slomin’s response to the complaint of consumer [redacted] [redacted] signed with Slomin’s representative [redacted] on to receive our guaranteed fixed heating oil price of $for one year As mentioned in the guaranteed fixed heating oil price agreement, “all of customer’s heating oil requirements must be purchased from Slomin’s and is supplied under Slomin’s automatic delivery system” Any new client who does not agree with the agreement terms and conditions after reviewed in its entirety can cancel within three business days without penalty (See attached guaranteed fixed heating oil pricing agreement and notice of cancellation) Slomin’s automatic delivery system weighs many factors Factors include the customer’s prior usage, weather forecast, and the number of delivery vehicles available Because [redacted] just began her relationship with Slomin’s in February 2014, we do pay extra attention to new accounts as we do not have a complete delivery history to maintain a more accurate delivery schedule On each delivery our intent is to fill the oil tank when we estimate the customer is at approximately half but [redacted] ’s account had instructions not to deliver more than gallons on each delivery Slomin’s does allow its customers to go on a call before delivery status should they request it [redacted] ’s account was on our call before status Although a specific reason is not mandatory to go on call before, this request is meant to assist those customers who may have pets or locked gates and need to be notified when their delivery will be coming Slomin’s customers do have the option of declining their automatic scheduled delivery which was done many times on [redacted] ’s account If a delivery is turned away by our customer, it then gets re-projected Customer’s that refuse oil deliveries can sometimes hinder Slomin’s automatic delivery schedule By refusing deliveries, customers must be mindful of their oil levels because if they allow themselves to run out of oil they will be responsible for the cost associated with service to have the boiler restarted Furthermore if a customer declines to take their scheduled delivery multiple times, their account can be subject to termination for inactivitySlomin’s made its first delivery to [redacted] ’s home on for gallons On Slomin’s contacted the home to arrange for the next scheduled delivery and it was refused Slomin’s made multiple attempts for oil delivery to [redacted] ’s home from March until June but the deliveries continued to be refused Upon the start of the new heating season as of 102014, [redacted] ’s account was up for review due to being inactive for oil delivery for more than six months On 102014, [redacted] contacted our office to arrange for an oil delivery [redacted] was informed the soonest a delivery could be made to her home was on Monday because it was Friday after 4:00pm when delivery was requested When delivery was attempted on 112014, our driver only delivered gallons Our driver believed there to be a problem with the vent alarm and suggested service to check and/or replace if necessary This service is considered to be very important to Slomin’s because it assist in determining when the tank is full and can help prevent a possible oil spill Also when checking the vent alarm if no problem is found, than that is usually an indication that the oil tanks is full and would confirm why we were not able to make a full delivery An appointment was put on hold for [redacted] to call and arrange for this service at her convenience within our business hours but no calls were made to do so On 112014, [redacted] contacted our office and informed our representative that oil was purchased for her home from another company and she was unhappy with her price per gallon [redacted] was informed that purchasing oil from an outside supplier violates her agreement for automatic delivery With the history of previous delivery refusal, unresolved vent alarm service and oil being purchased from another supplier, [redacted] ’s account was cancelled Slomin’s has always cooperated with the Revdex.com in resolving matters that come to your attention and we are open to your suggestion in this matter As a full service provider, it is Slomin’s responsibility to ensure that our customers do not run dry and that the heating oil is delivered in the most efficient manner possible Slomin’s does apologize for any inconvenience [redacted] feels we may have caused However, the current balance of $shall remain due If you should have any questions, please contact us at ###-###-####

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: Slomins left out some very important details: see my responses in BOLD"Prior to Slomin’s delivery to [redacted] ***’s home on 12015, the last delivery we made was on This was because his deliveries were on hold due to a past due balance and we made many attempts to contact." - salesman who sold me the contract advised us (my wife and I) that we were allowed to pay off the oil monthly as long as we paid the interest charges (this is not the issue now though but just wanted to point it out) and as long as we called their office to let them know what our plan was to pay off the balanceI provided this detail to them on 3/and 2/Slomins seems to be giving us grief over this, although we paid off the balance as planned "On [redacted] ***’s made a payment of $which left him with a $balance and eligible to receive an oil delivery Slomin’s continued to try and contact [redacted] and did not release a delivery because of the many months of account inactivity." - I did not get one message or email about this until [redacted] *** sent an email notification in response to our attempt to contact and informed us that he did not want his account closed Again we tried to contact [redacted] to discuss his account in depth due to its status but to no avail and subsequently his account was cancelled." - This is partially trueWhen I received a notification on [redacted] contacted our office to request an oil delivery [redacted] account was inactive and there was no fixed rate on the account Slomin’s customer service representative [redacted] offered [redacted] a new fixed rate of $and an agreement was emailed to [redacted] *** at [redacted] for him to accept A delivery was also released at his request Because [redacted] did not confirm the email offer sent to him he received his delivery at the posted retail price of $less the $variable discount which totaled $ To date [redacted] still has not accepted the new pricing offer." -- I actually called on SUNDAY 1/*/(I did not call on 1/2) for emergency oil burner service because my heating system was not workingThey refused to send a repair man to my house and told I should call back on 1/ [redacted] to resolveI decided to call someone else (No Doubt Oil Burner Service) and they fixed my heating system (this is really another item that should be addressed with Slomin's not upholding their own agreement to provide service upon demand but I did not make a big deal on this one)When I called back on 1/ [redacted] to find out what is going on, they told me that my account was cancelledI went into detail once again about the situation and they said they would release a delivery under the new account # [redacted] was very nice but in no part of the conversation did she say that I had to sign a contract to agree to the $I asked how much for the delivery and she quoted me that amountI advised her that I would call them to discuss the contract on the 3rd week of February to go over a fixed rate at that pointShe did advise that she would send me an email about the delivery but she did not say that the email would be a contractIt was not until I read the email that I realized they wanted me to sign a contract on fixed pricing and it was not until I actually received a delivery that they decided to charge me $per gallon above their quoted rate-- If -- and only if, I knew they were going to charge me that much, I would have not had them make the deliveryIn Summary: My experience with Slomin's oil since inception has been a nightmareHorrible verbal communication, and their unwillingness to provide top notch customer service to their clients in order to rectify issues to keep their customers happy, has been a major issueThis is why I will never use them going forward for oil delivery & burner serviceI expect them to honor their $rate In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted] ***

[redacted] [redacted] [redacted] Please accept this notice as Slomin’s response to the complaint of consumer [redacted] *** [redacted] has been a valued long term customer with Slomin’s since January Since that time he has also maintained an exemplary record On 22015, [redacted] contacted our customer service center with interest in getting an alarm system upgrade After meeting with Slomin’s consultant Marty on 22015, [redacted] signed a new agreement to have his alarm system monitored for a period of five years to receive our free alarm upgrade package In addition to that he also purchased an additional keypad for $and an additional motion detector for $totaling $Slomin’s completed the upgrade at [redacted] ***’s home on The upgraded keypads that [redacted] has in his home now, have the capability of being accessed remotely from a internet connected wireless device and/or desktop computer There was no cost to [redacted] to have this feature installed, but there is a monthly cost of $added to [redacted] ***’s monitoring for this option Upon completion of the alarm installation, [redacted] attempted to access the remote keypad from his android smartphone After trouble shooting attempts, [redacted] ***’s was informed that the software on his android phone was not compatible with the current Slomin’s application It was confirmed that the remote keypad could be accessed from all of [redacted] ***’s other internet connected devises Slomin’s has always cooperated with The Revdex.com in resolving matters that come to your attention, and we are open to your suggestion in this matter However, Slomin’s does not believe that it has conducted itself in any manner that would warrant intervention We apologize for any inconvenience [redacted] feels we may have caused him and his family but his alarm system is up and functioning properly Slomin’s cannot reinstall [redacted] old alarm system as he is requesting Nor can Slomin’s credit [redacted] ***’s account for the $additional equipment charges because it does not apply to the remote keypad which [redacted] ***’s complaint is based As mentioned above there is, no cost for installation of the remote keypad This feature is a monitoring option that is already programmed in the new keypads that [redacted] has The problem lies only with [redacted] accessing the remote keypad from his current smartphone Slomin’s is still currently working on a compatible application for the many customers who have the updated android version software and we expect it to be available shortly Until the application becomes available, Slomin’s has already removed the additional $monthly monitoring cost for the remote keypad access from [redacted] ***’s account As previously advised to [redacted] ***, Slomin’s will notify him when the new application has been established If you should have any questions, please contact me at ###-###-####Sincerely, [redacted] ***

April **, The Revdex.com [redacted] *** Complaint ID: [redacted] Please accept this notice as Slomin’s response to the complaint of consumer [redacted] *** [redacted] signed with on to receive our guaranteed fixed heating oil price of $for one year as well as Slomin’s Econo Pak Service Plan for $ As mentioned in the guaranteed fixed heating oil price agreement, “all of customer’s heating oil requirements must be purchased from Slomin’s and is supplied under Slomin’s automatic delivery system” This statement is also indicated under the Delivery requirement/Automatic renewal section of the Econo Pak Service Plan Any new client who does not agree with the terms and conditions after reviewing the agreement in its entirety can cancel within three business days without penalty Slomin’s holds the first delivery from being made during this period as well(See attached guaranteed fixed heating oil pricing agreement, Econo Pak Service Plan and notice of cancellation) Slomin’s automatic delivery system weighs many factors Factors include the customer’s prior usage, weather forecast, and the number of delivery vehicles available Because [redacted] just began his relationship with Slomin’s in March, we must pay extra attention to new accounts as we do not have a complete delivery history to maintain a more accurate delivery schedule On each delivery our intent is to fill the oil tank when we estimate the customer is at approximately half Our customers do have the option of requesting Slomin’s minimum gallons on delivery which is gallons During the heating season however, requesting just the minimum gallons and not allowing tank to be filled on delivery can possibly cause deliveries to be made more frequent Slomin’s does not provide will call for oil deliveriesAs a full service provider, it is Slomin’s responsibility to ensure that our customers do not run dry and that the heating oil is delivered in the most efficient manner possibleIf a customer allows themselves to run out of oil any service rendered relating to running dry is chargeable [redacted] [redacted] first oil delivery was made on for gallons which would indicate that his oil tank was close to being empty [redacted] next scheduled delivery is expected to be around If he would like to delay his next delivery Slomin’s can hold [redacted] ***’s next oil delivery to be made after due to the summer season If [redacted] does not want his tank filled on each delivery we can add instruction to deliver minimum gallons only on each delivery as previously mentioned Slomin’s also offers a budget plan that begins in June To make paying for oil a little easier for the winter, with the budget plan our customer pay a set amount each month regardless of how much oil is delivered Slomin’s has always cooperated with the Revdex.com in resolving matters that come to your attention and we are open to your suggestion in this matter, but we do not believe that Slomin’s has conducted itself in any manner that would warrant intervention We ask that [redacted] contact our customer service center at his earliest convenience if he would like to discuss the option mentioned above Unfortunately should [redacted] decide to discontinue his services with Slomin’s at this time, he will be subject to an early termination fee of $as indicated on his oil pricing agreementIf you should have any question, please contact me at ###-###-####Sincerely, [redacted] Slomin’s Inc

RevDex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and while I still believe the service I received was borderline reprehensible, I took the offer to cancel my contract without an early termination fee. I still feel misled and bullied into this particular decision but at a certain point it's not worth the irritation to fight anymore. Sincerely, [redacted]
