I cannot get into specifics about the appraisal reportWhat I can say is what Ms [redacted] is correct in saying that the comparables used to prepare the report of her property were manufactured homesThe lending institutions require that manufactured homes be compared to other manufactured homesI also want to note that the insurance value of the home is not the same value as the market value of the property.As to the basement issue the subject did not have the items required to be considered finished other than the bedroom and the bathSome of the value that they added to the property was offset by negative factors.As I stated in the first, letter it is not uncommon for the homeowner to feel the appraiser did not do his or her job when the value is less then what the homeowner expected.John *H***
