I have been dealing with [redacted] for over 5 years and I have to say that he is the most honest mechanic I have ever delt with. He tells you what is wrong with your car and doesnt try to sell you something you dont need. He is reasonably priced and I have recommended him to quite a few of my friends and he has treated them all the same way.
Dealership wanted over 7500 for a new engine. [redacted] was able to get a used one with warranty for 3000. And it was the sales guy at the ford dealership that gave me his number after seeing me weeping and furious. He told me [redacted] was honest and has been a certified mechanic for over 20 years. He takes his time to explain what's going with your vehicle until you undestand ... not trying to fast talk you out of your money. I have since recommend his services to my whole congregation almost 3years ago...and not have heard of one complaint.
Slaughter Automotive gets high compliments for their work on our Toyota Camry. The car had quit running and was initially towed to another repair shop in Phoenix. The water pump bearing had seized and the timing belt subsequently parted. The original shop wanted $1,500.00 for the repairs. We had it re-towed to Chandler, to Slaughter Automotive Repair. They performed the work in a day for the total cost of $425.64. They recharged the battery and made a fluids check (oil, water, etc) included. Slaughter Automotive Repair is deserving of high compliments for integrity of workmanship and the costs of repair.
Slaughter Automotive is by far the best company I have dealt with in getting car repairs. My current vehicle is old and was ill maintained prior to my purchase. They always get my car up and running again and while I know there are probably a million things they could suggest "have" to be done and it would be legitimate, they do what it needs to get it running again and will just let me know what may be an issue soon. If I won the lottery I would let them maintain everything my car needs with out reservation or second thought about wasting money :)
