Review: I hired the company to move my disabled mother from NY to Florida. The company never gave me a contract or an inventory of items moved by them. I did not even know the actual cost of the move until 2 days prior. The move happened several days later then they promised. They said they would unpack the items for my mother as a concession. They did not unpack one item. There were 5 valuable items broken in transit. I paid $750 for insurance but the company has yet to instruct me about a claim. The [redacted] has contacted me once to discuss the issues I had with the move and has been unresponsive since. I paid them in full by certified check. Services rendered were not what the company promised. Several valuable items never made it to my mother's house. I do not know if Slattery took the items since I was never given an inventory.Desired Settlement: I would like the company to refund part of the money I paid to them, as they did not deliver what they said they would.

I would like a full inventory of items belonging to my mother that were taken by them during the move.

I would like the company to appraise and reimburse us for all items broken during the move (as listed on invoice by their driver).
