The original scope of work was to raise and support front porch to its original pour line and re-support the roof after the owner leveled it with a jack Unfortunately our crew was unable to accomplish this without causing the situation we are currently facing Our site supervisor Jason very clearly explained to [redacted] if additional lifting of the porch was attempted in order to try and support the roof as originally proposed, the porch would push against the door frame [redacted] insisted additional lift be attempted and now his door frame is pinched by the porch The other damage which occurred while the crew was attempting to lift the porch was a piece of veneer fell off Our sale representative Chris F [redacted] has been back out to attempt to resolve ***'s concerns several times Our offer at this point is to adjust the door frame and repair the veneer The porch doesn't need to be replaced This is simply a preference of the customer as it is the only other option now that our service wasn't able to resolve his original issue Please let me know how [redacted] would like to proceed Thank you and have a wonderful weekend! Our head of sales, Chris F* has reached out to *** via email in response to her original request for clarification Chris has clarified the nature of the pressed mud (slurry) and reassured *** that the material installed is as proposed and will be adequate to continue supporting her
concrete as agreed Our dispatcher Jenna has confirmed an on site review for *** with Chris on July 6th at 5pm to ensure all of her remaining concerns regarding the material and the work provided are addressed
This is a very unfortunate situation. As the customer mentioned, our terms and conditions indeed call for the owner of the property to provide locations of both public and private lines in order for our crew to ensure this doesn't happen. The customer did not provide the location of the...
waste line and it was compromised as a result. Regardless of where the blame lies for this incident, we offered to cover all expenses specific to the repair of the waste line as we believe it is simply the right thing to do. At this point, the remaining concern with regard to the resettlement is not accurate on two accounts. First, the material in the pipe is not representative of the material which is installed beneath the concrete. Our material has been installed on thousands of jobs throughout the Puget Sound over the past several years without issue. The material is designed to be installed beneath concrete on top of a sub-grade (generally soil). It is not designed to be installed in a waste line with exposure to chemicals and other various waste. Second, our installer and sales staff have made several return trips to explain the concrete has been raised to the bottom of the framing which is as far as it can be lifted without putting pressure and ultimately causing damage to the structure. In an effort to resolve this matter, I will have our crew return as requested while the customer and her father are present so that all parties concerns can be addressed together.Sincerely, Dave

Jason very clearly explained to [redacted] if additional lifting of the porch was attempted in order to try and support the roof as originally proposed, the porch would push against the door frame. [redacted] insisted additional lift be attempted and now his door frame is pinched by the porch. The other damage which occurred while the crew was attempting to lift the porch was a piece of veneer fell off.
Our sale representative Chris F[redacted] has been back out to attempt to resolve [redacted]'s concerns several times. Our offer at this point is to adjust the door frame and repair the veneer. The porch doesn't need to be replaced. This is simply a preference of the customer as it is the only other option now that our service wasn't able to resolve his original issue.
