I will do my best to organize the concerns mentioned through out this complaint The first refers to an issue with the owners concrete walkways I agree that they are pitted and in need of repair The repair is the responsibility of the community association to perform The Community Association is governed by a Board of Directors It is the Boards responsibility to decide when to make the necessary repairs and how to pay for them Once the Board makes this decision, Brodmor carries it out The owner that made this complaint sits on this BoardShe has been invited to a number of meetings with her fellow board members to resolve the issues She doesn't show up to the meetings and therefore the issues become very difficult to resolve The owner that wrote this complaint also voted against raising the condo fee to a reasonable level so that these types of repairs can be paid for Next she states that Brodmor promised to fix the concrete in the Spring Brodmor is not responsible for the repair so we wouldn't have made that statement We may have told her that the Board (which she sits on) will try and make the repairs in the Spring Perhaps that is what she remembers hearing Again the owner needs to participate and help her fellow Board Members make the decisions that need to be made to operate the community on a day to day basis Next she said that her garage is flooding as a result of her neighbor installing a plug in her garage drain and the drain ditches being clogged with trash and debris It would be Brodmor's pleasure to hire someone on the communities behalf to investigate the problem and correct it Brodmor needs permission from the Board (which she sits on) to move forward with this type of expense Brodmor cannot spend the owners money without Board permission It is clearly stated in our contract Next she mentions bushes that need trimmed, weeds that need pulled/sprayed and mulch that needs put down Again, this is all a Board decision Furthermore, Brodmor has received all of her correspondences and responded to all of them in a timely manner even if the Board wasn't able to give her what she wanted or receive her help in making the decisions on how to proceed I would suggest that this owner request a hearing with her Board so that their issues can be properly discussed and resolved I simply don't have the authority to take any action without the Boards consent She must reach out to her fellow Board Members I cannot get in between Board Members
