SkyRun Vacation Rentals - Summit County/Frisco/Dillon

This vacation management company is not only incompetent, but dishonest. My husband and I and two friends recently booked and stayed at the Edelweiss Mountain House, which is lovely.
But we were very concerned about the lack of responsiveness from the SkyRun for two issues, both of which were very important.

First, we were told repeatedly the importance of locking up the house. But when we tried to lock the front door, we found that the key pad did not work. This seems pretty major. We reported it promptly and it took more than a day to get it repaired.

Secondly, when the keypad WAS repaired, the code was not reset properly. Thus when we arrived home in the cold and the dark with our two elderly guests, we were dismayed to learn we were locked out.

Even more alarming was the calls to your emergency phone number went unanswered. Indeed, almost 15 hours later, we still had not heard from them!

As a result, we had to break a window pane to enter the house and then clean up the glass and find a way to shore up the property for the night. This should NEVER have happened and caused a lot of extra work and worry for us and our elderly guests.

My letter of complaint to SkyRun did not contain an apology, but only excuse and frankly, lies about whether or not we tried to call them that night. Are they kidding?

I urge others not to do business with this company. There are plenty of other places to stay in Colorado that are managed more efficiently.

These people are crooks. They steal from the owners of the properties that they manage. Very Very dishonest.
