On November 7, 2013 I went to see Dr. [redacted] for an eye exam. There was a dispute over the amount that I was charged for the exam, however, once I spoke with the office administrator [redacted] Kees I was told that they would make an adjustment and that they would order me a pair of glasses at cost. I repeated asked what the cost would be when I was fitted for glasses, but no one could tell me. I came to pick up the glasses on November 15, 2013 and was not happy with them because the prescription seemed way off. I left without the glasses, but the company continues to bill me for $297.73. I do not feel that I should have to pay for a product that I was not happy with and did not receive. Desired SettlementI would like for the company to cease trying to collect the funds and reimburse me for the eye exam. Business Response When patients place an order for glasses it is a verbal contract to buy. This particular patient received a discount on the doctors services and was charged the cost to the practice for materials and operating cost. I personally discussed the billings for optical eye wear and professional services with the patient. I discussed the discount for professional services with the doctor.
