I googled british airways to confirm my flight and was connected to this company who took down my info and card info pretending to be the airline
On August 23,2019 I received an email that my british airways flight was canceled so I googled british airways and called the first number that appeared on google. After I pressed to speak with customer service I was connected to a man who asked for my flight information reference number and then said you booked with a travel agent and transferred me to another man who introduced himself as wesley. I explained to the man the email I received because I thought I was still speaking to a british airways representative. He then took down my information and placed me on hold and asked how much I paid for the flight and then placed me on hold and told me I had two options that I would have to be reimbursed for the whole flight or he could book with their partner airline. He attempted to book with canada air for me and told me that it would cost $200 more. He e-mailed me an itinerary after taking down my credit card information. He then said we would receive a refund for the total amount of the other flight in 15-20 days. Something did not feel right and I noticed the email was from the skycheap flight company and not british airways so I called my bank to report fraud once I realized that I did not have a reference number or confirmation number to confirm with Canada airlines.
I do not want to be charged by this business as it is a fraudulent company scamming people online. They lied about changing my flight and reimburseing me. I would like no contact from this company and that they are not able to defraud other people into believing that they are working legitimately with the airlines.
I was transferred to this company when I called KLM and asked for a "supervisor". This company tried to charge me and defraud Delta Airlines and me.
On 7/8/2019, I did an internet search for the KLM 800 number and called to upgrade a plane flight. When I asked to speak to a "supervisor" I was transfered to a man who called himself Jason (phone number XXX-XXX-XXXX. He charged me $2196 and accepted my credit card information. Everything seemed legitimate up until this point so I confirmed by email. Next Jason demanded a photocopy of my driver's license (I refused this part) The company on the Visa charge was "AGENT FEE XXXXXXXXXXXXXSKYFLIGHTCHEATX"
The next day I received a call from a Delta support specialist (I can provide her information to law enforcement if needed) She explained that someone with a foreign accent called *claiming to be David *** (impersonating me) and asking for a "free upgrade for medical reasons". She also explained to me that a travel agent from Plano had accessed the RDU airport system and assigned me the cheapest possible tickets on the flight but that I still did not have any seat assigned and I was not upgraded.
I purchased the upgrade through Delta directly at that point. I also disputed the Visa charge and canceled my credit card.
An hour later, I received a call from the same Delta agent. The same person had just called Delta again, this time as a travel agent, to book an upgrade (I assume they were trying to cover their tracks).
The agency has contacted me via email threatening to call every airline everywhere and report me as a bad client. I want them to not do that and I want them to stop contacting me. They tried to commit fraud and it didn't work, I want to leave it at that.
These people hacked into my allegiant airline app while I was trying to update my travel. They allowed me to change my plans and even noted that the web site cost higher. They made the changes and again I'm thinking they are the allegiant people. Not until I again added another person to my flight that the REAL Allegiant staff noticed this. These people issued me vouchers that were issued to people from Canada! I am out 225.00 and American Expresss is investigating. Do not use these people!
I saw an air flight listed on the web. Every time I went to book the flight for my daughter it would not allow it due to her age. She is 17. I called the number listed and the person on the phone told me she needed an unaccompanied minor status. He told me that usually this cost was $75 but he would let it go for $50 because she was 17. I did not think much of it at the time. I also so inquired about insurance as well. This flight was being booked in advance for a pre-college program and I had yet to receive all of the paperwork from the college yet. I started to receive the paperwork the next week from the college and it said that they could not pick anyone up from the airport so do not book a ticket with the unaccompanied minor status. I called the 1-888 number back and they said they would put it in the system to say she would not need a sign off at the other end. Something did not feel right. I waited a couple days and called United directly. They told me that an unaccompanied minor status would cost $150 and it would never be required for someone that was 17, the age limit stops at passengers who are 16. They also gave me the first three digits of the United charge code so I could check my credit card statement (which I have done and it says AGENT FEE without the correct code). This company is a scam!
Product_Or_Service: flight
Billing Adjustment I would like my credit card refunded for the $50 and I would also like this scam of a company shut down!
