Review: My family hired [redacted] of Skye Inc October 2013 to install seamless gutters. He advertised as a licensed contractor on his contract and truck . After he started we found out his license had expired. We then had to wait until his license was reinstated.We then found out that the work had to be permitted by the city of [redacted] causing further delay while he procured the permits. When the work finally resumed one piece of the seamless gutters was short on one side of the house due to his son's mistake in measuring. He asked if rather than redoing the section , if he could add an additional piece of gutter on a higher peak that he said would cover up the mistake. I agreed to this because at this point and so many delays I just wanted the job finished. When the piece was installed I could see that it actually did not cover up the piece that had to be added so in essence my "seamless gutters" do have a seam on one side but by this time I just wanted to be done with it and him and paid him in full for the completed work. According to his contract his work has a 10 year guarantee. After the job was done during a rainstorm I heard a loud banging noise. I realized that the added on piece on the top peak of the house was leaking and the water was banging in the gutter below. We spoke with [redacted] and he agreed that he could come in the spring and put something to seal the upper seam and that should take care of the problem. We contacted him again in the spring and he agreed to come on a specific Saturday morning. He never showed and we have been calling him ever since and getting only voice mail and no call back.Desired Settlement: I would like the man to honor his guarantee and fix the problem. At this point I am really sorry I did not make him re install the mis measured piece
