Review: On Saturday, October [redacted], 2015 I was charged $196.00 to my personal account from Sky Athletic Billing for unknown reasons. The withdraw of $196.00 has resulted in an overdraft into my personal account as well as an overdraft fee. I contacted the Sky Athletic General Manager, Brendon K[redacted], twice and have not received a response back. I have contacted my Sky Athletic Personal Assistant, Adele S[redacted] twice and have not received a response back to this date. On October [redacted], 2015 I contacted [redacted],com in which a representative name Jennifer Jurena replied back to my email requesting an immediate refund in the amount of $196.00. Jennifer informed me that the Sky Athletic Billing system automatically withdrew $196.00 for 3 months of membership (August 2015, September 2015, and October 2015). I informed Jennifer that I did not attend Sky Athletic in the months of August 2015, September 2015, and October 2015. Jennifer confirmed that their records indeed show that I did not attend Sky Athletic Gym. I reiterated that I am demanding a refund in the amount of $196.00. I reiterated that I am demanding and immediate hold on Sky Athletic Membership. I also reiterated that I will not be attending Sky Athletic Gym. Jennifer J[redacted] has offered me $19 ($9.50 month late fee) accredited to November 2015 Sky Athletic Membership dues. Jennifer J[redacted] has also offered me 3 months at $0 rather than refund the $196.00 that was taken out of my account on October [redacted], 2015. I am demanding a refund in the amount of $196.00 as well as an immediate hold on Sky Athletic Membership.Desired Settlement: I am demanding a refund in the amount of $196.00 as well as an immediate hold on Sky Athletic Membership.

Review: August *, 2013, I received a phone call from a company representing Sky Athletic Club, saying that I needed to give my updated debit card info because my previous card expired. I called them back, and they explained to me that you're gym continued to charge me, despite the fact my membership expired in March 2012. After telling them that it was a mistake, they suggested I go into the gym and clear it up myself.
That day, I spoke to [redacted] who explained to me that my gym membership was still active, that I was still being charged...and that we could cancel it (which I did). When it came to being refunded my $880 of overcharged months, he said that he would email the accounting department and cc' me in it, explaining the situation. He never did, and I ended up contacting the accounting department myself.
Included in this complaint is parts of the contract I want to bring up for my case, at this link: [redacted] The conditions of agreement clearly says "It is understood that this, membership agreement is good only for the period of time stated, agreed to, and paid for. "According to this and the section where it says my membership expires, I should not have been charged after april 2012. I understand where the automatic renewal says it will be renewed, but that only covers the stated time period, which is April **, 2011 to April ** 2012. If there was no expiry date, I could justify you not refunding my money, however the expiry date should've been the cut off.
After talking to accounting department, they've been giving me the run around, and I have all the emails if needed to prove it. After threatening legal action on september **, the accounting department told me that [redacted] of Sky Athletic club, would be calling me. After continually following, up, they still, to this day(oct ** 2013) have not called me, and given me a straight answer. [redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like my $880 refunded to me, as I was unfairly charged based on the terms of the contract.
